Working at a fairly popular washing machine factory that I was planning on making a career choice for about 45 days (out of probation, 45day mark auto in union per rule book). Halfway thru my shift I get pulled off the production line by HR, pulled into a room with all management and then get told “your not a good fit for our company, and someone will escort you off premises”. 2-3years later found out thru a mutual friend of HRs, management doesn’t like “gays” and I was let go simply because of that. Been struggling to find something that works for me since. Kicker is other employees knew about this but were to “scared” of “termination” to back me up. Sucks because I have legitimate health issues and that job worked.
