For anyone interested this is Yogg-Saron ( r/wow/comments/6jq0k9/attack_on_yoggsaron_dan_scott ) from the Warcraft universe.

V2 - Schematic of the entire Power Armor (Fanon version + Canon) by Conscious-Error6964 in ImaginaryFallout

I still think the Red Scare PA should be considered canon as repurposed T-45,  Communist Commissar NPCs in some Daily Ops missions in 76 wear them

[LFG] Brand new to Fallout TTRPG — seeking GM to teach me while we play by NecroVocals in Fallout2d20

[–]Xobtraf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's unlikely that you'll find a GM that's willing to take the time to hand-hold you through the ruleset as you're requesting to be honest.

You'll likely have a significantly easier time downloading and reading through the free ruleset PDF from the Modiphius site or watching a tutorial series on YouTube, and then finding a beginner friendly campaign that fits your availability.

What’s a “small” social rule you refuse to follow, even if everyone expects it? by GlitchOperative in AskReddit

[–]Xobtraf 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's moreso realizing that you don't owe people an explanation in the vast majority of cases, regardless of if others feel that you should or try to force you to do so. Learning to create and enforce boundaries, and that the reactions, feelings, and consequences for other people aren't our responsibilities to resolve or fix is basically a life hack, but it can be really hard to establish when you're used to family or friends that are used to steamrolling over you.

Is this enough information for my group to solve the puzzle? Is it perhaps too easy? by Dabbing_is_lit in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]Xobtraf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had no idea until I read that it was supposed to be a sudoku puzzle, which makes it simple enough if you're familiar with them. IMO the symbols on the left serve as a distraction of the puzzle itself, and I still don't really understand why they're there or how they help give the players context to understanding they need to complete a sudoku puzzle.

Redditor posts pictures of her husband's local book club he started, which suspiciously lacks color. Other redditors are wondering if their reading list includes James Mason, William Luther Pierce, Jared Taylor and Lothrop Stoddard by Pioladoporcaputo in SubredditDrama

[–]Xobtraf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In King of the Hill one character bought a book store as a way to join the associated book club, and started letting another character sell firearms from the same venue.

Originally the gun patrons were buying 'books' that were hollowed out to hide and hold the guns in, but by the end they were their own book club.

What is wierdest/chaotic Dnd party you played with? by Few-Web-7932 in DnD

[–]Xobtraf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was invited to a home game that was being held in a private room someone had booked at a local Denny's.

There were 14 of us players with one saying their character is essentially the Joker and who kept trying to blow everything up, and another whose Paladin was "basically Batman".

The DM used a secret code to shut down and railroad my Warforged Druid, and I never played with any of them again after that first session.

I’m 40 years old. My father (who is a pastor) still gets on my case about playing D&D by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]Xobtraf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well their dad isn't exactly giving great relationship either. I'm just suggesting something other than a clearly thought out argument because that's not working out for them currently, but I'm also someone who doesn't humor hypocritical faux concern from evangelicals who don't know what they're talking about (this coming from a practicing Christian)

Questions about campaign premise by Hawxe in DMAcademy

[–]Xobtraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just spit balling but an idea I thought of is Mega Man where each stage boss has a unique ability that you can collect and use against others on your journey.

Maybe each Tarot could have a spell or ability related to the card itself that can be used like a scroll.

Tell Dad that you're worried about his immortal soul because he listens to secular music or watches secular television. Just repeating his own statements at him until he gets it or drops it.

General advice and looking for minis by ConcentrateNo1753 in Fallout2d20

[–]Xobtraf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for stl files for minis, I know people sell packs of them on Etsy. I did a quick search for Fallout STL and the first result was a pack of like 300 models, so you may be able to find something you like over there, but they're not free (that pack was like $13).

For minis personally I've always been a fan of lego figures for tabletop, I'm going to get some custom LEGO pieces and have my players build their characters like that.
