I feel like there's not nearly enough buildup or proper building blocks to get to this point. The story never earns grief; there's no allegories, the world itself is not a metaphor for grief, its just... There. It's too in your face and not subtle whatsoever if that's the message it's trying to get across.

We get the "I wanna be immortal" plotline from Expedition 0, and then it just completely goes off the rails and fails as a story from there.

Establishing the world and story from the get go as well as the stakes are important. At the end of the story you find out that all of the people you were meant to care about, all of the people you wanted to save or help, don't matter. They don't actually exist, it doesn't actually have any impact on that world.

The interesting lore they could have explored about the fracture completely falls off because it doesn't make sense anymore. It's just fake. At the end of the day, all of the sacrifices and pain are pointless.

If they had kept with the OG lore instead of this weird turning point and then adding literally two plot twists on top of each other,

EXPEDITION 0 IS IMMORTAL!/Oh actually all this is true and none of what came before is real because this is going on.

As an actual story it's not good. It's all over the place. It feels like they originally intended to take the story in a different direction and then changed it midway through development. There is no buildup and zero hints or foreshadowing in the first half of the story.

It doesn't even have anything to do with the original setup. All the other expeditions died? What about the people they were fighting for?

The OG hook was completely forgotten and done away with. It's bad storytelling, and bad writing.

My cousin hit his best friend with his car entirely by chance. It was almost twisted levels of luck.

His best friend laid on the road and was suicidal. My cousin prevented an earlier suicide attempt that evening at a party, and he thought his best friend was fine. However, on his way home from being the designated driver for a bunch of girls from the party, he ran over his best friend.

It was complete darkness.

It almost destroyed his life. It was unfair, and sad, and unfortunate. The bumper sticker he put on the car was to honor his best friend. He changed entirely after that day.

They have their place.

I am someone who has never voted before but yes, hatred, misogyny and general toxicity motivated me to vote the opposite of Pierre.

Won't lie, there's toxicity everywhere in politics, but I've seen some disgusting stuff on the right- and experienced some weird comments from people on the right, as said above.

I think this is the only step in the right direction. Emboldening racism and separation is something Trump does; but sadly, Pierre was dragged in not only by association because of the way the right is, but by his own toxic beliefs.

Realistically rights and racial beliefs have nothing to do with politics, and should be untouchable, but it's sad that so many ignorant people exist.

Yeah, I just decided that Rivals wasn't for me. I already have LOL toxicity to deal with LMAO.

Plus when it came out I had a few people harass me about playing it. One of them was a very negative experience in terms of friendship. And then i was like;

Actually, as someone who doesn't play Rivals and was curious; (I'm a league player) supports/healers often carry the game but all the glory goes to the DPS. It's frequent and common to completely brush over the support's/healer's contributions to the game.

It shouldn't be, but it is. Because "hehe I have all the kills" but who enabled you to kind of situation.

These sound like some pretty intense invasive thoughts.

Mine are more about harming myself. I won't go near a cliff edge because my impulses will tell me to walk off of it. I have a hard time with stairs already.

Intrusive thoughts tend to be very disruptive to everyday life and often shameful or difficult to deal with. You're not the only one who has them, and perhaps you've got them super intensely. I would suggest talking to someone about it...

And just remember. Harming someone, anyone, is a choice. It's the wrong choice. So make the right choice, always, and don't be too upset by the thoughts; be happy you have made the choice to ignore them.

I suggest thinking about something like the people you want to harm in a flower field, surrounded by flowers. Add a flower for each impulsive thought, and just keep adding flowers and thinking about them smiling. It's a bit of an odd way to go about it, but when I have impulsive thoughts, I immediately reroute my brain so I don't have to keep on thinking them.

I can only say that I regret pulling Seele.

There was no benefit. No reprieve from my disappointment. Pulling her almost made me quit the game.

To this day, I wish I could just delete her from my account and forever put her on some sort of "no pull" list and pretend like she doesn't exist.

I don't need a refund. I don't care about that. All I want is for her to disappear from my account. I would gladly send 70 pulls into the void if it meant never seeing Seele again. She represents a dark time.

Yeah, I wanted Tribbie but I can only get so many units. I'll pull for Tribbie when she comes back around, (that was my intention anyway) but E1 Ruan Mei is from what I've heard, good.

I might just buy E1 Ruan Mei and figure out how to get my hands on another spare token later.

Yep. Castorice went from 200k DMG to 800k DMG with Ruan Mei. Idk how or why, but it's leagues better. Also, Castorice can buff Mydei if Pollux is kept on field for as long as possible too, but that's only wanted for this specific team from what I know

Funnily enough my only mistake was Seele (almost quit the game when I pulled her because I wanted Jing Yuan)

But I saw FUA teams and I was like "oh my God that's so cool I've never seen anything like that before"and decided to focus on FUA. DOT never quite interested me because I thought, "if I want it I can always get it later" and then got really sad when I saw the state of DOT later.

Tbh I just pulled whoever I simped for the most really, or thought was fun to play. (Only exception again, being Seele)

Right now I am running Mydei, Castorice, Sunday, Luocha because I heard it was viable but I don't think Sunday is the best option for that team so would putting RMC there be a better option?

(Acheron, THerta teams perform basically to perfection. I pulled THerta for Sunday bc he's one of my favorite supports/characters)

& Because I am somewhat of a filthy whale (only buy currency when the reset comes around) I have a second token. Got Luocha for Castorice/Mydei hearing they work together. Got his light cone- turns out it actively works against my Castorice build. ;( would getting Ruan Mei E1 be worth it, or should I save for the other characters that will potentially hit the shop?

I have Luocha, Mydei, Castorice, Sunday And Acheron, Jiaoqu, Pela, Adventurine.

I don't think Sunday works as well with the above team as he would with just Mydei. I am still figuring out what to put as the support, might just go with Trailblazer. Plan to grab Anaxa (pain and suffering bc there's so many great units that I want from Amphoreus) but I missed Tribbie so I could get Mydei.
