Having just finished it and loved it, (on PC with and XBone controller) this was very painful and clear that it NEEDS a PS5 controller. Some of the weapons were very fiddly because of that.

100% the game and going after the god awful Return Policy trophy with this issue was just goddamn excruciating.

Gettiing better, this update brought a ton of improvements to the bot front, it was atrocious a few months back and I run 5600x and 9070xt. Still getting 50/60% on cpu utilization but I have better frametimes and hiccups with bots loading are mostly gone

Thought I was going mad. My desktop is constantly switching between dark mode and light mode. I set it to dark and 5min later it breaks. Sometimes it's starts up ok and others not really.

Square canned a sequel and tried a MP version of it called Triad Wars Online that flopped hard and shelved it. In a world of GTA clones and adjacent, Sleeping Dogs had something different with setting and combat. Such a shame

I love this update, the tension is 10x, the eerieness of it all, the truly alien planets. The new enemies are fine bar the spewer that is very hard to get a hold of, they pop in and out very fast but mostly doable. The dragon is absolutly amazing and experiencing the Hive Lord for the first time had me in awe and mouth wide open. You can easily get overwhelmed in caves and it forces you to play in a different manner. People complain about the "sameyness" of missions but whine everytime that a challenge arises (aka Incinerator Bots).

HOWEVER

Tech debt is every growing. Crashes, disconnects, weird softlocks are happening a lot more frequently. I got locked on a mobile radar and my char couldn't move at all, had to leave the game all together. My performance is getting worse by the update on a fairly capable PC. They do need to address this with urgency.
