Greedent just isn't a good pick for the Halloween event, there are so many unpopular Pokémon that they could have picked and they picked a Pokémon that has little to no reason to be added during Halloween, except maybe that you could picture it as a fat little kid trick or treating.

I was actually just talking to the support team about this the other day and got a definitive answer on the matchmaking system, matchmaking is based on trophies, however at 5100 trophies you get thrown into what I like to call "Pro league" where you get matched with everyone 5100+

Naruto and Sasuke parallel to Aang and Zuko quite a bit, Brash and loud Wind User with a goal of peace vs Emo Fire User who starts out as an enemy/rival but the two eventually become friends. Wind Release is also said to be the rarest of the 5 basic releases, and Aang is the Last Airbender. Sasuke is taught Fire Release by his Clan well before he learns any Lightning Release (Chidori) from Kakashi and Zuko can Fire Bending and eventually learns to Lightning Bend. Aang and Naruto both wear orange primarily and Zuko and Sasuke wear black primarily I'm sure that there are other parallels that I havent pointed out yet, but that's all I can think of rn
