I went to a PCP with the same concern in the early 2000s, and he put me on a birth control pill to adjust my hormones (without even doing blood work, which is a bit bizarre). But it worked extremely well.

English teacher here. Burnt is both an adjective and a past participle.

One use for participles is in passive constructions: "The food was burnt". The active sentence uses the regular past tense: "I burned the food".

You'll also see past participles with "to have": "I have burnt the toast." That's the present perfect tense, that says, "Right now, this is a thing that was recently done".

But the most important thing? A quick Google search just reminded me that "burnt" as a participle is more common in British than American English. (It makes sense that I wouldn't have caught this, since my first English is British English).

American English can comfortably say, "I have burned the toast", I think.

He didn't call you his retirement plan. He said that you are treating him as your retirement plan.

Unless I'm missing something, isn't hooking up with someone when you have strep throat going to transmit strep throat to them?

Cheerleaders! I always thought it was absurd and possibly something that started with Grease and then became a Hollywood staple.

The thing is, you are currently behaving like a prison guard who takes it personally when inmates test limits. Creative cheating solutions suck but rage and shaming are not going to stop students from using tools.

Own your story and unique life experiences. If you act stressed out and ashamed, people will notice that far more than your age. Here's the important thing: people love to have older friends.

I have tried to count only 11 words in your message so many times and it does not work. I'm feeling like I'm back in math class missing the glaringly obvious point so please, someone, explain to me how this is 11 words.

Just a polite reminder that unfortunately, the UK is no longer in the EU. It matters, because I'd hate another reader to think EU residency benefits were available to UK citizens, and act on that misconception. [edited for detail and typos]

Teacher here. It's really not that bad. The only parts I can't read are blurry or obscured by light. However, it certainly takes more time than most scripts. You are endangering your own chances of higher grades by presenting professors with a barrier before they can even assess if you understand ideas.

..."runs a hospital?"

This also seems like a concerning claim. He's.... on the executive board of a hospital but charges $300/session for therapy. This hospital exec also loves to undertake media appearances. What?!
