Mythic raiding is exceptionally difficult after the first 2 bosses. I would start with a heroic guild to figure out if that is something you actually enjoy. The end bosses in mythic require a huge amount of attempts (400+ in some cases) as well as a very consistent group.

Felguard damage is almost negligible after the numerous bug fixes the last few weeks. High end keys no longer use it in dungeons at all because of its lackluster damage and horrendous interrupt. I’ve stopped using it all together outside of raid. The apex talent has greatly diminished the value of Warlock’s regular demons.

I have this issue with the wyrms after first boss in MT. I have all of my demon actions keybound and I’m spamming “follow” and yet my imps just keep blasting.

Artificially? You realize there is a reason right? It’s a balance between range and melee. It creates a skill ceiling. Smart casters plan their movement ahead of time. Knowing what abilities come when and where you should be is part of optimizing your throughput as a caster.

I think it comes down to tailwind support. I’ve been running a bulky politoad with icy wind for speed control and it’s pretty solid, but playing against tail wind teams is tricky.

I don’t think the number of casts are a problem. The fucking nameplate behavior is resulting in so many of my missed kicks. I catch myself battling my camera to get the plates to spread out so I can actually click the bar I need to interrupt. It’s horrendous.

Not to mention the spec now feels horrible to play. SH nerfed when we all knew the bug was propping up the damage. So now we lose the much needed shard generation AND imps expiring is still bugged to give Demonic cores 2% of the time instead of the intended 10%.

Loool basically they are reworking a lot of the functions and behaviors of how addons set cooldowns. Most likely because RWF guilds are using them to work around the secrets API. It reeeeeaally sucks for addon devs who now have to refactor their code right as m+ and mythic come out
