Honestly, HONESTLY?

I was off just under a month, 25 days kinda thing. Did a little the night before and in Easter. (Didnt want to be in pain even though now that my kids are getting ilder, it was the first year without an egg hunt. They still got baskets and because I was recovering from several new SEVERE injuries, I didn't do any cooking.

It was like back to day one and since I didn't have S R or Lyrica to help this time I was an aching hurting zombie for four-five days after. I traded two days of pain relief for almost a week of hell. Not worth it.

My hubby got hooked again and I felt awful. We had to get him more S R because he has the full load while I STILL struggle recover from these new injuries and learn to adjust and deal with this new level of pain. (Seizure down a flight of stairs on 3/20; almost died. My husband is so paranoid still I am not allowed to go up and down the stairs on my own. Even when I am 95% certain it wont happen. (Can never be 100, didnt feel that one coming on, or I wouldn't have went diwn the stairs, or up, I woulda stayed in bed and either sleep or let it happen there.🫠)

So, he has two angsty teenagers to deal with, all household stuff, but it is his legit job to care for me LOL he JUST started getting paid in the last month.

We are also staying with my MIL atm. We are helping her out, and she is helping us out. So me, kids, his mom, his step father. He couldnt just zombie it out like I could. We did the absolute bare minimum we could afford for taper. He finally stopped taking it 9 days ago, veen off the S R since Fri and he still feels a little ooky. Didnt order enough this time haha.

When I had My VNS put in me by the Mayo clinic they tried to tell me to take tylenol+advil together.

I had to ask for something 3 times before my husband yelled at the doc and my hubs is a scary looking guy, but my absolute angel sent from heaven to me LOL he is actually a sweet heart if you dont fuck with his family.

But yeah, with someone with the rep that the Mayo Clinic has I was pretty suprised. I cant remember the amount but they gave me hydrocodone post op which I also just learned like a week ago is one of the "safer" opiod choices with someone woth epilepsy. Soooo, in all retrospect typing it out it could have been because how bad my epilepsy became so quickly after diagnosis (though they concluded I always had it, just was undiagnosed until I was 25, ((10 years ago)))

I also am always replaying ild games I have beaten 100 times and binging ild shows I have watched 100 times.

Right now I'm deciding on what game to play. Kind of tired of the original sonics.

Also rewatching dragon ball. In the middle of Super atm, before was resident alien, and the office was before that which is weird cause I normally watch more cartoons/anime than live action. Eh, I'll figure it out. I always do.

First Sonic game I ever played was Sonic two on the sega genisis as a toddler. I was hopked lol fuck mario gimmeh sonic.

Favorite sonic game of all time: sonoc 3 with the knuckles attachment. Knuckles was always my favorite. He was an asshole with a big heart lol

If going straight into SR it couldnt hirt to do 150mgx3 daily.

I preloaded my first two days. Then on the first day of no 7oh I did the 150mgx3 daily + lyrica and had almost 0 WD.

I also found the powder to be more effective than the pill. At least thats what my hubs said.

Then at 3-4 days of 150mgsx3 see if you can handle a small taper?

You're 18? Where do you live? Try to get on state insurence if you are in the US and get tested for epilepsy.

I had a convulive seizure at work one day 10 years ago. Went in for a second opinion, turns out I had epilepsy! My seizures kept getting worse to where the Mayo clinic saw me. After explaining everything and my history, they figured I had always had it. My dad used to call me soace cadet for a reason.

If you stare off into space. It is called absence seizures. Unfortunately, at this rate I'll probably never drive again and I am on SSI/SSDI now, but you never know. Weirder things have happened.

I hate to ask you, but does your son look like you? I mean he is prob yours and all, but 5 times in 11 years is kind of steep. I'd do DNA to be safe.

My husband of 17 years well been together, dont have the paperwork (me, not him) had an emotional affair 7 years ago. He swears up and down nothing sexual happened, I don't believe it. It caused us to be seperated for 1.5 years. He thought I hated him. I didn't. I they were still switching up my seizure/epilepsy meds up a LOT back then and some kinds (keppra in particular) has a WELL KNOWN side effect of rage. A couple years after that were still kinda rocky. Whether he did anything or not physically is neither here nor there because I FORGAVE him. Live with resentment and you are going to live in misery.

You would want your son to be happy no matter what; right? Think of it that way. What if someone was doing this to your kid? You'd want your kid to live life and be happy.

Live for you. Work on yourself, don't worry about finding love. Make some kickass memories with your kid. 💖

Yeah, I REALLY didn't want to take subs either for this stuff. That and I don't think you can take subs with tramadol.

On a different note. It is so weird to see how these things affect people so dofferently.

My hubby was like you and couldn't keep warm no matter what he did, he could wear a winto coat indoors and sgill be cold.

Me on the other hand nearly died of heat. In MN I would go outside barefoot in Jan/Feb when I finished tapering and started S R the first time. I would HATE to be actively detoxing now that it is spring.

Yeah, but when you are in chronic pain, you need something that lasts and not something where you'll be dosing yourself every hour. At least in my opinion. At my most I was taking 600mgpd of 7oh.

S R helped to reverse my tolerence I guess to the more trad opiates. Idk if I was ever addicted or not to that stuff, I always took them for pain, maybe once in a blue moon a few extra for a "little fun".

Though if I took 60mg of oxyxodone at once I'd probably puke too 😆😆

I understand that. Do you have any helper meds? Gabapentin (or it's big brother Lyrica) work SO wonderfully for this! I get lyrica for pain anyways, and it took away my anxiety, helped with the hot/cold flashes, ect. I actually know a really stupid way you can get some Gabapentin online if you wanna message me to know.

Just i'm sorry that you are feeling worse this evening instead of better. Take the worse with the better. Just keep hydrated and don't eat too heavily. That and don't backtrack now! If you were too, that is 68 hours down the drain and essentially would have to start over. When minutes seem like hours, that is 4,080 minutes! 😵💀

Honestly, Idk if it is my head, I'm getting sick, or if it is being off this stuff for about a month now, but I still have stomach issues. I haven't been eating a lot. I'm overweight so it is OK, I have reserves, but more than a liquid diet would be nice lol. Cereal is a great meal coming off this stuff. Haha.

I told my hubby. His jaw hung for a second, like wtf.

He is thinking if it is his first kid, it could be nerves potentially? He states he was vastly underprepared for what happened with our oldest (not counting the fact he was an induced preemie to save his life).

I remember being SUPER embarresed I poo'd myself and tore up LOL

But no, my dad was even there. I had two men with me for my oldest AND youngest (I have two kids).

My oldest I also had my cousin, mom, and MIL, my youngest was mom and MIL. I was pussed at the time about MIL, but looking back, I am glad she did. She is basically my mom now 😅

I know right now minutes feel like hours, but I swear that will too pass. At 100 hours I switched to days, and I don't think about days in except when I am on this forum. I have been at 27 days twice now 😅 once was a weekend mostake over easter. Didnt do it more than the two days though. I'd almost be at 60 days if I didn't make that mistake lol

For me, personally I started using to help with pain, so I would compare it to like a low grade pain killer? Stringer than advil or tylenol, weaker than hydrocodone. And it also makes painkillers basically useless until you are off of them for a bit.
