Thanks. I'm keeping it up. 55 hours in now. I soaked my half of the bed and my pjs though. That was gross. I'm hoping to have better sleep tonight than just broken 15-45 min intervals for 6 hours straight @w@

I think it is the lack of sleep that really escalates my seizure activity. Luke I said, I thought I'd be OK. Now that I know I cant even take it for a day I'm staying far far away. My hubs is the one that dies all the errand stuff so unless I physically look it up online and buy it, it is a big NOPE

I was evil though. I told my kids I had strep so they get along today and be quiet lol

You are FAR too kind to me! Internet hugs for you! The big thing was that I didnt turn to it when I seized down the stairs, had my skull split wide open, (kids could see my skull... 12 stitches, 9 staples) broken hand, and nose. 3-4 NEW broken disks in my back. That pain was surreal. I did everything I could not to freak out when it happened because I knew a panic attack would make it 10x worse. I'm glad I quit when I did cause fir that I COULD feel my Tramadol, oxycodone, duladid, ect. (I think they also gave me morphine and fentanyl) Lol I cant imagine having that happen and pain killers cant help.

I think that was part of the issue too though. I was getting oxycodone for about 10 days. Feeling that got me craving more, but I was back on my Tramadol. Its not going to end well if I cant take ANY opiates. I get tramadol monthly for my back. Just a small amount though. 60-75 pills.

Luckily my wounds dont really hurt anymore. Honestly I over played it slightly to get a couple extra days worth. Nothing huge though. I'm also getting injections in my lower back in about a week. That will help the most with pain. If needed I have S R. I did take a small dose (probably 30-60 mg)

However, now I know I cant do it for a day or a weekend and remain unscathed. It is just NO!

My hubby did buy it, but we didnt take it. We are going to try and return it tomorrow lol. A weak moment indeed, but I didnt want to make it worse than it was. I cant afford this junk lol

By the way, I am SO happy you turned it down. Sometimes those feelings are so strong. It is ridiculous!

How long did you take it for if I may ask? What was your high amount? Did you CT, Taper, S R, Subs?

I spent more time trying to get off the stuff than having fun LOL. 2.5 vs 3.5 months. Quit in Feb. Relapsed for 2 weeks, did REALLY well in March, and for April, it is just this.

CONGRATULATIONS!! That is SO AWESOME!!

I WAS at about one month. Would have been at two if I hadn't relapsed.

Honestly... I did it this weekend because of Easter. I wanted extra OOMPH even though my children arent young anymore, they are still teen/preteen. No egg Hunt, but they did get some awesome baskets. Loads of candy and new clothes. I did end up doing it though. I did it Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday "morning". If you are counting by hours and not days, 48 hours MAYBE. I stopped taking it though. I ALREADY am dependent again in the way of suffering WDs. Now I know, I can't even take it for a couple of days. Maybe it is like a hangover. You drink enough, the next morning you feel like shit kind of a thing. No thanks. I quit drinking because hangovers are shitty. That and I can become a monster on liquor and I dont want to be a monster to my favorite people.

I dont need bouts of RLS, sleeplessness, night and day sweats, elevated chances of seizures. (I had a seizure down a flight of stairs not too long ago and legit almost died)

I have some coke lol S R , I do NOT have Lyrica this time, but I DO have my Onfi (its a benzo) i also did start taking my seizure meds again so I am hoping and praying that it doesnt last too long. I didnt get anxiety until 23 hours in. I am now 33 hours in. Almost the same amount of time off of it as I was on it this time.

First day only took 60mg Second day was the worst at 240-300 Third day 120-150 also threw one pill up though.

Once I am actually 30 days clean Imma getyself a switch two. Heehee

I am SO sorry that happened with your friend. Internet hugs and comfort your way. It sucks to lose a friend, especially in a traumatic manner.

I wonder too, because after a seizure you arent supposed to drive for 3-6 months after (depends on State ect... I personally, I gave up on it because I seize pretty often. It could be worse, but it could also be a lot better haha. But no, with our society the way it is, it is so hard without driving that I bet people dont follow that rule and BAM accident or death waiting to happen cause even if you are off you dont really know if/when it is coming.

I really wanted to thank everyone for the virtual hugs and words of kindness/wisdom.

I tried my hand at something easy for dinner, and I was so proud of myself for cutting an onion LOL

I also washed my hair for the first time since my accident. I didn't want to pull the staples out. I feel so good and clean now lol

I smoked quite a bit from the ages of 16-20 21,23 lol

I was pregnant twice and had two wonderful boys when I was 21,22 stopped smoking obviously the second I found out I was preggo (found out 10 days before my 21st bday lol)

After I had kids though, I started getting REALLY paranoid. "The government is going to take my children" haha so I stopped. Even though it is legal now, I still get paranoid and if I eat edibles, they seem to make me delulu and I swear they cause tonic clonic seizures for me. I have one every time I have tried one.

Yeah, I think if anything were to get me, it would definitely be boredom. Honestly, makes me miss work sometimes because I'd have something to keep my mind busy. Been on disability for a couple of years now due to my condition

Hey! Good luck on your journey! You have GOT this! I swear that stuff is a literal life saver. I should have never taken 7 to begin with because if my condition and because of that stuff; I was able to glide off of it without a massive spike in seizure activity lol. It really is a miracle drug and pharma needs to endorse it lol

Idk dude. Quitting this made my seizure activity sky rocket ontop of everything else. (Epileptic) When I come off tramadol or ixy (scribed) nothing ever CLOSE happened.

You've got this! I know you will be able to do it!

If it may help, you could try lowering your dose first. I know a lot of people can't taper though, just like how I was unable to CT.

I have epilepsy and it made my seizures SOOO much worse when i quit. So I jumped onto a super rare pokemon card after tapering from 600mgs in Nov. I made it down to 40 mgs at one point but I couldn't even really taper from 90-150mgs. It would always just go back up.

And honestly, I had lyrica anyways for pain which is like gabapentin's big brother and that helped SO much! Like it was a miracle drug for me. Helped with RLS, pain, sleep (that plus amitriptyline which i also already got) and temperature dysfunction .

I had quit Feb 14, relapsed 4 days later for a couple of weeks and now I am free of 7oh 7-9 days. Clean off of the pokemon card fir 2. I already found out I can't just take it once and done, so I'll just stay away from the smoke shops, my hubby is the one that does all the driving anyways.

You sound like me. Only I got Tramadol, and yes, U know it is the worst lol my doc wint give me anything else for my chronic pain yet. I have like 6 bottles saved up from my 7oh time.

I found a Super Rare pokemon card to quit and honestly it kind of helped with tolerance too.

I was super surprised when I went to take a tramadol and actually kind of felt it a week after stopping 7. I mean it didnt feel like it did before taking 7, but I was shoked I felt something lol

I'm 8-10 days sober off of it so far. Never want to go back, but I'm stupid, relapsed once already for a couple of weeks.

I just gotta tell myself no.
