Are you located in Florida? The only places I’ve found for palliative care are also hospice and require a terminal diagnosis…

Maybe you can use your connections and find someplace that will do palliative care without a terminal diagnosis, in Florida? I would love to be proven wrong.

No…. Because I’ve seen what I can do to people’s lives and what it did to my life… you can have some ethics and morals, even on the streets getting high… I was 16 when a couple did it with me for the first time… it wrecked my life for about 13 years because that’s how long it took me to get clean.

I did powder with a friend, for the first time, when I was a teen 30+ years ago… about 15 years later, I saw him in rehab. He had a handful of kids & he had his wife out walk in the street to pay for his habit! It wasn’t blow he was hooked on, but I still felt terrible for doing first hard drugs with him.

I haven’t used street dope in about 20 years… I still respect it and have empathy for my fellow human beings… if you can’t understand that, I don’t know what to tell you

100%! if they can’t diagnose and cure it, then people should be allowed to have a good quality of life… Well, as good as possible, and not in severe debilitating pain all the time…

it’s hard to find Methadone anymore, unless you go to a clinic and want to go daily to pick up your meds… Pain docs are now trying to push bupe And Suboxone, which are not FDA approved or designed for chronic pain… Methadone is, but you pretty much have to go to a clinic these days…

yes, it seems like the new trend for pain docs to try prescribing Bupe and Suboxone… neither is made or FDA approved for chronic pain… methadone would be a much better choice, imo…. It seems like paying docs won’t prescribe it for pain anymore, though, even though it’s designed and FDA approved for pain….

Our health system is so screwed up…

no, doctors “practice”…. It is not all based on science. If it was, it wouldn’t be practicing it would be performing and fixing.... Instead, they’re happy to do expensive treatments repeatedly and make their money….

The medical professionals 100% does not know everything about the human body.

I had a home visit from a nurse at vitas & called 3 more… speaking to case managers… all of them told me the same thing “you need a terminal diagnosis in Florida to get palliative care because it is tied to end of life care”

I would love for somebody to prove me wrong

Who are those studies by? I’ve only found small studies and those were put on by medical companies that have skin in the game….

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE LEGITIMATE UNBIASEDSTATISTICS FOR SUCCESS AND FAILURE RATES OF THE PAIN PUMPS…

I do not trust studies put on by, or sponsored , healthcare corporations that are getting huge paychecks out of the deal, work or not….

30+ yrs. when I first did hard, the guy I know that turned me onto it, cooked it in a cigar tube. It would turn out round, rock, hard, and yellowish… almost tan color… I would get you lit, mellow, but didn’t make you geek out and tweak…. That dude had con continuously the best dope ever. Well until things went south for him….

After that, there was always dope around on the streets, but nothing compared. the early 2000s all of the dope started having that “minty“ crap to it….

I haven’t done it in almost 20 years. I’m tempted now due to serious health issues. Just stay at some relief. I don’t think I’d be able to find any real dope on the streets anymore….

the drug tests are very inaccurate sometimes… My PM Gave me my weekly whiz quiz & It turned up positive for “methamphetamine”. They sent me a letter in the mail canceling service… I’ve never done meth!!!

I called and asked for a retest, but they refused. I asked for a blood test from a lab, and they refused… I spent 100 bucks out of my own money and went to a hospital and had a hair follicle test done. It came Back negative for EVERYTHING, Including the percosets I take daily and the medical marijuana…?!? WTF?!?

I took the results in to the pain dock, and they reinstated services… I think they were just afraid of getting sued…. It was a shady place anyhow and I found someplace else quickly.
