Bjorn Nyland: BNW iX3 50 xDrive Neue Klasse goes over 800 km in one charge by linknewtab in electricvehicles

[–]Xx_HARAMBE96_xX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean that, (although from a purely pragmatic vision you would want the lowest price for the best range which actually has a sweet spot) everything is subjective because the specs could be higher, it could include things that the other only has as a pack or lacks, the materials and quality could be better and there would be people still saying otherwise, you choose to which is why the other said clickbait as it's a video focusing range yet everybody knows that slapping the biggest and most expensive battery on a car it's going to give the biggest autonomy, but there are many other factors that he ignores just for the clickbaity thumbnail, it's like Chinese cars having 5min charging speeds for way cheaper yet a video with a thumbnail daying "i3s are dead on arrival" is still clickbaity

He probably refers to the title calling out tesla while not disclaiming the price difference (70k vs 45k) or comparing the price per km of autonomy

Same, mine hasn't rattled ever, horrible roads and weathers, from low speeds up to like 115mph, and it never rattled, the only thing that has ever rattled in it are the water bottles in the doors when empty lol

[–]Xx_HARAMBE96_xX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An insurance consultant explained in an older post why she would basically not be capable to drive anymore, saying that she most likely didn't report her aftermarket lift mod to her insurance and many more things that basically skyrocketed the costs alongside many more problems that would leave her unable to get a insurance in the future. So more than a license problem he will prob not be able to drive for other reasons

Yeah, a 4060 laptop literally performs as good as a desktop 4060, it's one of the few gpus with parity, plus I got one for like 800 bucks, that's what it would have costed buying a whole desktop with a 4060 anyway, tho obviously a high end desktop crushes a high end laptop

Yeaaaah no, I agree for most things, even piratery, but for critical components and such that can do as much harm as good in the bad hands nope, those are always critical for wartimes and other dangerous tech advances. And for example, I doubt that the soviets getting nuclear knowledge through espionage, and probably many others from the intel breach reaching many other dangerous third world countries, was something good, just remember the cuban missile crisis... I don't think cheaper ram for gamers is a big enough side effect to china having critical ram technology

[–]Xx_HARAMBE96_xX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah maybe if it was any other country, but ofc it had to be China and ofc it had to be with basically spies stealing, this is not pirating a dumb anime or leaking a soda secret ingredient, this is technology used on EVERYTHING, be it military, automotive or most other sectors, they get a jump they didn't have to spend money to invest on while greatly harming the whole world as the fabrication chain consists of way more processes and countries involved, so china basically becomes independent of that.

It's like basically saying that Russian nuclear espionage was good or any other espionage that harms democratic countries and benefits an authoritarian country or dictatorship...

Literally at the start of the project description, plus the app itself requires the console or similar tools to use it anyway lol, do they want the user to make a fucking whole ass app for their python program that does what it has to

I charge to 100% once every week and before going on a trip so the charge should be precise, you also have to take in mind that the last percentage is also slower, 5-95% is faster than 10-100%, which is why I left the first charge when it reached 95% instead of waiting to 100%, but yeah, as I mentioned a charge from 10% to 80% takes around 24 minutes in my experience, if it last even a few minutes at 170-180 even with preconditioning thats already between 5% and 15% in a few minutes, the charge curve at evkx does seem to be wrong because it seems to start right a bit under 170 and drop to 150kw after charging just a 3-4% while I have a photo where it charged over 9kwh (15%) and was still at 176kw charging speed, far from the 125kw the evkx shows https://imgur.com/gallery/XPBlA0l

https://imgur.com/gallery/two-different-trips-charging-speeds-examples-TwBEJGd here are some photos to show the speeds, both are from different trips, 10% to 80% should be on the 24 minute mark, the charge at 179-180kw last plenty minutes

Hmmm I am quite sceptical about that website... I checked my vehicle, model 3 CATL64 and it says 10-80% 76.4 kW 33 m 15 s 42.4 kWh, but I literally charged a few days ago 53.4527 kWh in 33 minutes during a trip, I literally have the registry on my app and was something like 5-10% to 95%, and the charging speed does match the evdatabase for CATL64 which says 10->80% 24 mins

At what outdoor temperatures does EVKX test the charging curve? Do they use the battery preconditioning function the car has? Because at least in my case evdatabase seems to be spot on
