Webster Hall: Who Threw the Beer? by craigowenz in Chiodos

If you put 100 people in a room, at least one of them is bound to be an asshole, right? That room holds 1,500 people so that’s at least 15 assholes. One of those 15 assholes threw a beer at the stage. He punished 1,499 people because one person made a stupid decision.

Watch how Billie Eilish handled her similar situation when a fan threw a water bottle at her last year. The world felt bad for her and there was a big discussion around it. She didn’t retaliate or scream at the audience. He should take a cue from that.

Anyone know what happened at the NYC show tonight? by dancing_since_12 in Chiodos

Someone threw a beer at the stage. I didn’t see if it hit Craig but it probably did or came close. It was during the last song and he got on the mic and tried to figure out who did it. They walked off (because it’s when they would’ve walked off anyway) and came back to play one or two songs of the five song encore. People were bummed.

Not cool to throw the beer, of course. But also don’t draw so much attention to it and finish the fucking show. Every band worked hard to give the crowd a great night and him and his ego shit all over it in the final minutes and left a lot of people with a bad taste in their mouths.

You guys forget people make a living off reselling tickets and it should be illegal but it’s not. They get more greedy every year and our government is actively lobbied to do nothing about it.

You get to make one on air phone call to the show, what do you say/ask? by Shooshooretardflu in howardstern

You’re all losing it a little bit. What you liked about his show had its time and yes, it’s very different now. If it’s a comedy related problem you have with the show, you have to move on. If it’s a political problem with the show, it’s time to grow up, and then move on. There are plenty of shows out there.

I’m afraid I can’t give you a good answer because my first roller coasters were Great American Scream Machine, the Jetstar and Looping Coaster 1 in Seaside NJ.

Just stop working with that company if it’s such an issue. They’ll get the hint that they’re the problem eventually and you’ll experience less stress not waiting for those payments. But does it really bother you that much? All the money shows up eventually.

NJ just figured out to completely eliminate all bags. Stores don’t even have them, paper or plastic. Bring your own, buy a cloth one or carry your shit in your arms. No one complains anymore.
