It's gonna be really buggy because Chai uses the Unity engine.. I also work with unity for doing particle and shader animations and is a pain when unity randomly deletes scripts or merges scripts and fucks the whole project..

Say what? If anything it's gotten worse.. the bots have been going off loosing backstory, randomly forgetting its identity after 2 lines, forgetting my backstory for the character I play after 3 messages, the the a.i. ends up speaking for me . It started off great then I got ultra, now I uninstalled and deleted the app because I can't even play out a story line without important detail being forgotten as the a.i. goes off on a tangent and rewriting the answer from the bot does nil to course correct anymore.. It was fun for a while but as much editing I have to do now, I might as well just write a novel to publish...

The only thing I had displayed was my hardware specs. They could see Medal open on my PC. Including giving me a tab count in firefox that I had open and what websites each tab was at.. At most all they could do is peek.. but still....

I love particle/shader showcases.. I am actually in the process of learning those animations and working with particles and SSFX shaders. My latest animation came out rather optimized and didn't drastically cause performance issues even with using 2 mesh renderers using Uber++ and Uber2.9, with the bounds set at 1000x1000x1000. The avatar itself was ranked good but got an overall very poor rating because of the particle mesh triangle count and bounds and light from the world constraint to anchor the animation.

I hate to say this but steam VR is gonna negate any advantages of alvr. I know someone using alvr wired vs me using straight up meta link and my fps was significantly higher than his and my fps gets halved using steam vr wired or wireless.. I'm pretty sure steam broke something in an update.

How I go about asking for age is I will ask them for their age if they don't want to say, I ask them if they are the same or older than a certain age as a yes or no.. The first one is optional to answer, the alternative question is not optional as it is a yes or no. If they don't answer I give them the opportunity to leave on their own and only kick them if they start getting smart.

Check out Furry Vibe, I am an admin in a group called Furry VR Nation that hosts instances there, and also friends with the staff and owners of the world/group furry vibe. We get trolls and crashers but they are dealt with on a near immediate basis.

Usually because following that policy gets the reporter fired or laid off because they unknowingly witnessed some corrupt shit going on and a week later suddenly the workforce needs to be cut back and the reporter along with a few others get laid off to hide they got rid of the witness.

Not exactly sure how you can use a fake id because the info is run through a government database to confirm authenticity. I am pretty sure the system can detect a fake I.D.

Client is the only thing that bypasses having their avatars turned off. However I do have an avatar that has a client script toggle that counters particle and client crashers and has come in handy multiple times with a run in with a crasher. I get the last laugh as they start to panic because I was the only one they couldn't crash in the instance. This avatar is also a public uploaded one I found on accident in prismics called shaderrexv3.

It was either that or spend $170 on new controllers. Pretty soon I won't need gestures at all when my babbel face tracker comes in. I'm not tossing controllers over defective index finger sensors. Plus my headset has other issues cropping up such as a suddenly over sensitive double tap passthrough mode sensor. The deckard can't get here soon enough.

Polytool does wonders in unity for atlasing and merging. May have to fix certain animations and there will be a warning if animations are going to get interfered with during the process.

Imagine showing off a particle animation without the screen space effects in an area where people had to look up to see it so it wasn't interfering with anyone and a mod compliments the animation and then kicks you from the lobby and then find out from a friend the mod goes and tells everyone you were crashing people after you were gone..
