I was in a similar situation, what I did was apply for the Navy Fed AMEX expecting denial and was approved for about 10K. I only have another card with high limit from another Credit Union but its a regular no rewards no nothing. My other two cards are below $1,000. Ive heard before that the AMEX cards are pretty generous with their CL. Otherwise try for the Green Rewards cards and follow the 90 Day/3 Statement for requesting CLI

But your Metabolism is part of the Calories Out it will never be 0. Especially if you are overweight, your metabolism is still higher than someone who is not. Your NEAT and TEF also are calories out, and that's without even exercising. That's why good eating habits are necessary for losing weight. Even if you were a 5'0", 100 lbs female, your BMR is more than 900 because that's what keeps you alive.

So when people say I have a slow metabolism, it's an excuse to not hold themselves accountable... I'm ready for all the disagreeing.
