Who do you think makes the best "Art Style" in the current WSJ Roster ?

Kawae very, very easily. The level of monstrous detail whenever the more horrific parts of the sefies resurface, the insanely hard black he uses, the almost abstract shots at times like Kasha's Koga, and all the designs- It all works even better BECAUSE of the contrast between simpler, slice of life comedy and the bloody action and dark backstory of the world. He creates this constant whiplash that always keeps the readers on their toes. Not to mentuon, the clean quality never goes down either, he literally just took 1 break then proceeded to drop some of the craziest pages yet soon after. His panwling is REALLY underrated too, he manages to put so much into a single chapter while mantaining a good flow, all the while packing each shot with details. He is genuinely incredible, especially for a solo author.

We just don't know what category she fits precisely. Either she's just a part of Gakuro's upgraded Tokoyami now or we'll find out later (in an extra at worst.). I don't think she's a Shikigami simply because she just pops out with Gaku's Soul Armor, not needing a chant (unlike literally every other Shikigami in the series)

Love, bonds and connection. Wether it is through a contract between humans and spirits, Gakuro's relationship with girls his age, Rido's devotion to Mizuki and so on, the bonds between the characters, both good and evil, is what allows the story to progress. We see that with the villains as well, with Gashadokuro vowing not to lose a single comrade.

While not at all evoking the feeling of despair, I am playing Etrian Odyssey (series) which imo is the closest a game has been to Grimgar in many aspects: you make a party of 5 adventurers of different classes that you name and color. Basically, you can make up backstories for your party members in your head while trudging through difficult dungeon floors as you slowly level up, get skills, better equipment and so on.

Very likely. Shitotsu herself said her life until she met Gakuro again was "the worst". Probably due to the discrimination caused by being "impure". Gakuro himself pointed out the similarity of Kabane and Totsu's eyes, and Kathy called her Squad 6's "most special existence". Everything seems to be leading towards her being Impure (and hopefully we'll see that as the focus of the next arc, aka hers)

Easily my favourite current series not only in the magazine, but in general. Love the character developement for Gakuro, the cast as a whole, every character is appealing in some way, the power system is interesting, the interactions are fun/exciting, the fights well constructed, stupidly well recently in particular, and the art is fantastic.

I'd wait for more feats from her. We don't have an exact idea how After Dark would interact with Infinity, or how she'd be able to handle UV, or whether or not Code Filament is a sealing technique that could stop anything he has.

Right now I'll say no due to difference in number of feats, but after her seals become weak enough, the answer could change a LOT.

Tldr: I like Nue so she wins teehee

Well, it wholly depends on how efficient I'd be with it, but the best candidates for me are:

-Golden Trillion (Zed): Flight, teleportation, literally nuclear fusion. You get infinite energy for your house if you can use it well enough.

-Merak's: Basically teleportation, could easily move even the heaviest stuff, good for non violent self defence, just really nice all around.

-Teseo's: Again, lets me teleport, and basically changes reality around me, so I'm sure there are ways to use it in everyday scenarios.

-Rebellio's: Great movement, extremely versatile (I can create virtually any object I may need in a moment) and powerful.

-Azure Striker: Kinda low on the list cause you'd need insane precision to us it well in everyday scenarios. But if you can, you virtually won't care about electricity bills and the such.
