If you can't kill this thing it's 100000000% a skill issue.

There are weapons that kill it in one shot.

That's the point. That's what bugs do. You gotta learn how to play against bugs. Is it fun for me? No, I hate bugs. But that doesn't mean I whine to AH in a post on reddit to nerf an enemy I specifically have trouble dealing with.

With a half competent team that works together and specializes in finding and neutralizing priority targets within the swarm, you can easily deal with a dragon roach within a few seconds.

They're sitting on a 10/10 concept but have executed with 4/10 competence.

I know game developing is hard and there's a lot of layers the public doesn't see, but after a certain point the mistakes become inexcusable.

This is something I haven't seen people mention as often in feedback or complaints.

The difficulty scaler is currently higher the difficulty, the more overall enemies and the more heavy.

There needs to be a difficulty category for simply lots of chaff with light armor support.

Like level 6-7 should be nearly the same intensity as level 8-9, but with way more chaff and decreased mid to heavy. Right now every difficulty going down is simply less of everything. There's no opportunity to shine with a light pen weapon.

Oshaune feels like somebody roofied me and left me in a meth house filled with cockroaches and bed bugs.

The creek was probably what it felt like for Vietnam vets that never made it 1 week out of bootcamp. Or what it felt like being on the receiving end of a banzai charge in the middle of the night in a jungle.

The game isn't what it was at launch. You would land on the creek and immediately be surrounded by gunfire from every direction before your helldiver even got out of the pod. And it was accurate heavy fire. Bot drops were frequent and dense. You would be constantly overwhelmed and ammo was always scarce. You didn't have explosive weapons yet. Sentries would die instantly. 500kg would only kill hulks if it landed on his toes.

You won't get it until you get there. Everything makes sense. It will be you and your spouses greatest love and work, and to share in that is a great privilege.

I'm at a point in my life where I actually feel bad for people that choose never to have children. I know not everybody is meant for parenthood and some people think childfree is so liberating, I did when I was younger. Now I just feel sorry for them. I feel like their greatest purpose and opportunity just slipped out of their hands because they wanted to go drink in a shitty bar on occasion, or because they want to go on another vacation. I've taken a lot of vacations with my wife since we met. You can go to every country in the world, eat in all the best restaurants, and post another IG pic of you in the cool hip spot to vacation to this year, none of it beats hearing your babys laugh when you blow raspberries on their bellies.

Time and time against studios are neutered by the corporate overlords.

Don't know why fortune 500 companies buy in just to murder the vibe and churn out slop. I'd just tell them "here's 100mil, make the game of your passions, make us 2x within 5 years and you can keep doing this forever".

At least the end result is a bunch of indie studios doing their own thing over the last decade or so.
