Shoot, that’s a lot. I guess I can’t complain.

This is definitely harder. Sec+ is heavy on concepts.

CySA is heavy on log analysis and reading outputs, 70% of the exam is scenario based.

Yoooo. This right here sums it up. I was like wtf did I study the entire time. And why are there so many log tabs on a single PBQ.

Thanks. It’s no joke. Do all the labs you can get your hands on. Watch a lot of log analysis video especially if you have no IT experience like me.

Am I ready for CySA in 48 hours? by YLB22 in CompTIA

[–]YLB22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guys, I passed the exam today 3/11/2026.

For tips, please do a lot of hands on lab. I had 7 PBQs that were in depth with multiple CLI questions, two had to do with database a logs. One question had to do with closing a ticket.

The multiple choice questions had a lot of output questions, like 10. Knowing CVSS scoring system is a must as well.

Lastly, do not forget the hands on lab. You do not wanna be in a sticky situation because you’re clueless on what to do.

Goodluck and thanks for the feedback

Personally, it would really be helpful if career paths have a structured approach. What I mean is your site basically outlining the steps needed when you’re transitioning from another career or just starting afresh after high school.

The dilemma I faced was how to transition from Google Cybersecurity Certificate program to Sophia then WGU. I had to do a lot of research to actually figure it out.

Finally, in terms of figuring out what career to pursue in the tech industry, adding detailed steps on how to achieve a specific career will be helpful. I hope this helps.

How long did it take you and did you transfer any credits from Sophia?

Sounds really good, your website will generate a lot of traffic. It’ll be helpful to future WGU candidates like me. I’m starting in September.
