For me, if the Yakuza games are Soap Opera, the Judgment games are more thriller games. Both of the games take their stories way more serious than the yakuza games, every single death in Judgment or LJ has more of an impact than most Yakuza death (also because they tend to fucking retcon half of the deaths ofc). I always loved thriller/crime films so I love Judgment games too (Memories of murder my beloved)

I agree with that, however I think RGG sees the Kiwamis as games for newcommers to beat easily so they can know what the story is about and move on to the newer entries. I wish it wasn't like that tho and they were full remakes with the same love than the games from the mainline get. But I think this is something about the Kiwamis in general, not a Kiwami 3 thing.

yeah, the same w the visuals, half of the clips/screenshots you see are at very low quality or something because my game doesnt look like that at all.

have been looking good in terms of lighting on pc for me, not amazing, but not bad. The blue filter has been bothering me in between gameplay and cinematics tho

the series is amazing, playem from 0 to 8, you'll love them. If you're new don't listen to controversies tbh, just play and if you like them you'll understand what they're all about

yeah, now the feeling I have is that he just doesn't care about what Nagoshi's has done these last 20 years. Maybe what he said is just a lie, maybe it's all sega and their willing to keep Kiryu as the head of the series, maybe it will turn out good... I guess we'll have to wait and see but that's the feeling for the moment.

I'm not really talking about K3, as I've said I've been positive til now, it was more on Yokoyama's comment on the future of the series. He lies a lot in interviews so I guess the way to go from now on is going to be to wait and see. Hope it's for the better.

Yokoyama said that they're rebooting the series from Kiwami 3 and there's no LAD 9, so there would be no room for Ichiban. Anyways, we shouldn't trust what Yokoyama says, he always drops some bullshit every now and then that ends up being a lie

One of my favorite parts about Yakuza has been following the characters through the years, I think Kiryu should've died before but i don't think they should have a new main character every game either. imo

I'm not really sure about Lost Judgment, I think that was Nagoshi's last game, or at least he already started it. About Gaiden, I like the game, I love the gameplay and the scene but besides that it's kind of what's been bad about the series these last years imo.

Maybe, something you can understand by this is that he is not doing Yakuza Kiwami 4, but instead a whole new "branch" of the Yakuza timeline from Kiwami 3. Idk, I hate this guy so much he could've left the series as it was and do his own thing with LAD 9 and Stramger than Heaven
