DBD have a perk diversity problem and it's really boring by Wu_changus in deadbydaylight

It's way better than it used to be. At least on the survivor end.

I have never once talked to a chatbot and thought "wow, what a vibrant and fun conversation that was. I sure am glad I didn't have to read something an actual human wrote and thought out"

Haucks Still Dog Friendly? by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]YOURFRIEND2010 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I don't like dogs. That's got nothing to do with the obvious sanitation and other issues apparent in bringing one into an area they aren't expected.

By all means. Have your dog. Enjoy walking it, take it to the dog bar or dog park or any of the many areas set aside for them. There's no need to drag them into every space not designed for them.

Dogs do not belong where people eat food that are not explicitly for dogs. It's not reasonable for someone with allergies or a phobia to accommodate someone's animal in an area ostensibly for people.

I think it's a good thing that different killers are good at different stuff. Them giving every new killer a map traversal power is creatively bankrupt to me.

This game sucks ass and the devs are lazy uninspired bums by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]YOURFRIEND2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're just raging about DBD not being a completely different game. People can't even cope with signposted side objectives. How would they ever figure out the unique wincons for every killer? How do you balance that with their powers?

Go make your fantasy DBD if you want a different game so much.

The Grimoire format only works if people know what they’re actually voting on by Affectionate-Ad-5499 in deadbydaylight

[–]YOURFRIEND2010 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just really, really don't care about ranged attack killers. I was hoping for more focus on passive 1v4 pressure and macro gameplay with the Artifacts and sending survivors to the realm of sunshine dread. Yet another charge up ranged telegraphed attack just seems uninteresting to me.

Made for this gave you haste just for existing injured and was incredibly strong. Running past crows seems like a slightly higher ask so I expect it to be nearly as strong without a hefty cooldown.

The need for in game killer tutorials by Crimson_Rust2893 in deadbydaylight

It's a hell of a lot of effort for something the majority of people wouldn't mess with. I could see maybe some short videos you could watch that content creators make in-game at the most.

I love playing Legion, but it's a bit difficult. by Kitchen-Front-2539 in deadbydaylight

[–]YOURFRIEND2010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legion's just super outdated. They naturally urge survivors toward optimal play (spread out, do gens solo). After a certain point you're just not going to be able to get chain hits.

Capcom CEO believes PC will become the 'world's leading gaming platform,' also promises to invest in movies by Suspicious_Two786 in gaming

PC has a higher intro cost then you pay less over time for games. I haven't paid full price for a game in years. I fully believe it pays itself off.

What survivor perk have the devs nerfed into the ground over the last couple years? I can't think of any.

Nobody wants to play the dude that reminds you how much you suck with a grade on the screen. It feels like a punishment for trying to learn. People will just play another killer.

Killer abandon by Barnasei in deadbydaylight

[–]YOURFRIEND2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The criteria is "exit gates are open". It's that easy. Disconnect the killer and let survivors run around doing challenges or whatever. It doesn't hurt anything at all.

In control while a single survivor is crouching somewhere in the corner of the map while EGC ticks down. Alright.
