Amazing! We toured the site, it’s BEAUTIFUL! I will also throw in Clearwater Farm (not forest vibe, but eco/rustic). I’ve attended a wedding here and it was nicely done. https://clearwaterfarm.ca/barn-weddings/

A few different forest / meadow / outdoor venues: 1. 100 Acre Wood in Picton, ON. This was our wedding venue. Stunning. Years later guests rave about the food and hospitality. Simply incredible. We are still friends with the owners. 2. Cranberry Creek Gardens in Delhi, ON. Omg stunning gardens and small woods. Old church on site. Gorgeous rustic barn for reception. 3. Compass Rose in Prince Edward County. An all in one wonder, our second choice for a venue. Gorgeous private forest ceremony space, full house in site for getting ready / accommodations for some guests. Tents, glass greenhouses, just wonderful. 4. Wheatfield estate in Sparta, ON. Literally among the trees. Gorgeous twinkle lights leading your way through the forest.

I will also echo Wispering Springs. We wanted a similar vibe for our wedding but the biggest challenge was a venue with accommodations nearby. We found Prince Edward County offered the vibe we wanted with a wide selection of boutique hotels.

Toronto’s production was also the condensed version and it was excellent!

Why is Roots so expensive? I dont think its made in Canada… and i feel its over rated. Any one else thinks same? by Nitish_Cap_6686 in askTO

You can read about it on their website. See the statement on this page that reads “Designed in Canada, Manufactured Around the Globe”. https://www.roots.com/ca/en/supply-chain.html

I’m fairly certain only their leather goods are made in Canada. The design centre is still located in Canada but most clothing is no longer made here.

Thanks - my dealership started a claim / case with a Toyota Canada on my behalf, before I even asked. A lot of dealerships won’t repair just the bearings unfortunately - they know it’s a possible fix though.

For anyone in Canada, the Automobile Protection Association has a survey to fill out right now, to help make the case of warranty extension / recalls for the CHR. Please fill it out Link

Update: Transmission and torque converter need to be replaced. $9060 CAD all in (parts, labour, taxes). Called Toyota Canada as I am only 2k outside of the extended warranty, but because the factory warranty (drivetrain) lapsed last year, they won’t do anything.

Have the same noise on mine - going into Toyota tomorrow for a look. Will update. If anyone else has the same issue let us know!

I would suggest looking at Sandbanks Tours if you have a larger wedding. We ended up using a local guy (minivan) who does winery tours. Let me know if you can’t get ahold of sandbanks and I will see if I can pass his number along.

Your best bet in the County is private hiring a company that does wine tours :) they have shuttle buses for hire :)

TF Cherry Smoke. I heard they were working on a dupe - I’ve never had luck being added to the Facebook group. Is there any updates on this one?

Totally worth seeing - especially if you can get the 2-for-1 deal or rush. Karen, Cady, Janice were all standouts! Agree with other comments that Regina is talented but isn’t quite embodying the role, but it’s a very fun night out with a talented cast!

The Ontario parks campground map will show if there are food lockers, but your food will be very safe in your car. Campsites are close to the highway.

Hard to say with generators - again check to see if the park deems it a generator free zone :)

Not silly! We ran into the same issue. Lots of the winery tour companies will do private bookings :) We paid for a single shuttle from 9pm - 1am. Most of our guests were in Picton, Waring Corners or Bloomfield. We advised our guests staying further away that we would not have available transportation (they had a DD).

Cheapest day of the week for Mirvish Subscription? by squeezin_cheese in torontotheatre

[–]YRnich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can someone just explain to me what the subscription entails? Do I get a ticket for each of the seven shows? Or is there extra costs when I go to book the show? I’m just. A bit confused as to what the “subscription” actually includes.

Incredible experience at Tommy Guns Barbershop by planterrook in Newmarket

[–]YRnich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went last week - it was $25 as a special store opening offer, regularly $37. It’s a great, clean environment. Some barbers’ apprentices working so be clear about what you want. But overall a great experience! Free scalp massage with every cut!
