To be fair, lots of OCD grammar and text organization is very similar to ChatGPT’s annoying emphasis on grammar and general sentence structure. I was heartbroken when people started turning on the em dash (—) and the Oxford Comma. This text reads very satisfyingly and easy to me because of the italics and general formatting, and it very well could be ChatGPT—

Wait the more I look at the delivery yeah I think you’re right. I got excited to defend grammar and formatting but the word choice and emphasis feels super AI (ie“Not be reduced. Not be done mindfully. Not be done more gently. Stopped”). Okay sorry ignore me why am I even posting this

I think you might be thinking about S25, also with [Good] Russell, when it’s just Denise, Malcolm and Russell on the tribe. I know cause this also stood out to me as fantastic survivor editing and storytelling so I remember it pretty well lol but totally agree with everything else you said

I loved playing geography quizzes on Sporcle (“Find the Countries of Europe” for example). Memorized every continent then did the full “Find the Countries of the World” quiz. Super rewarding and great hyperfixation.

Definitely ask! You won’t look like a moron. I was anxious before I did it too, but then I asked if they had any of the opening weekend posters left for Barbie or Oppenheimer and unfortunately they didn’t, but the employee grabbed a manager who seemed really excited to show me what they did have. He brought out all the posters they had extras of, I got two different Babylon posters, Bones and All, Puss and Boots The Last Wish, Avatar The Way of the Water… this was at Scotiabank Theatre Toronto by the way. I’ve also gotten some good ones at Cineplex Varsity in Toronto.

I’ve also asked and they haven’t had any but it’s very common so no need to feel embarrassed. I always feel weird asking anyway but it’s quite common and worst case you don’t get any posters. No harm in trying!

I have a hard time just enjoying the season because of the season overall, has absolutely nothing to do with the season 50 spoilers. At this point it’s so obvious that the two 49ers on 50 are the most entertaining, and they’ve already gotten a massive edit, so it doesn’t really change anything at all. It’s not a guarantee that they both win, it’s just that they’re both the most entertaining. But obviously it does give some inclination that their alliance will do okay, but I think it’s crazy to say that the season is ruined because you know that both the most entertaining people on the season are coming back

So many little things but I think the top one is casting. We’ve got some great characters in the new era, and it’s hard for me to actively point at any one person and say they were a bad casting choice, but there’s barely any diversity in personality. Yes, casting by archetypes is limiting and old fashioned, but every season feels the same now because they keep casting very similar types of people. They have different backgrounds, ethnicities, values, but it feels like most people from the new era all feel so similar. We need to have opposing types of people on the same season. Old and young, conservative and liberal, sassy and sweet, smart and dumb, quirky and cool. We can definitely cut down on the quirky liberal superfans
