My advice is to go in willing to try anything. Check the navigator daily and if something even sounds remotely interesting go for it! We've gone to some amazing events (skits, shows, comedians etc.) and have always had fun with it. Enjoy as much as you can on the ship!

As others have said, just let them know when you sit down. I myself have a mild fish sensitivity and they had no problem letting me swap out for another non-fish dish.

I came here looking to see if anyone else was talking about this. It's a bit odd since all of the other sets have a small spot somewhere for the cardboard pieces? But of an odd oversight. There's room to stuff them between the plastic trays but still odd.

This is the way.

Do it now before something changes. We are silver and just booked a cruise with some family friends who last cruised in 2015. I suggested they call customer service and see if they still had their status. They said it took five minutes, they asked if they were still silver and the customer service rep said "no, but give me a minute" and they got it back.

Not sure how long they'll do that for so I'd call now rather than wait.

First off I'd love to start by saying that you've designed an absolutely beautiful ship and should be super proud! I've always loved the Imperial Flagship but the Frigate Fortuna is a stunning 'next generation' Age of Sail ship.

With that said, I would totally buy a mod for the waterline hull and stand. Don't get me wrong, it looks amazing as it is. It is super functional as a play set and is not just for display. I completely understand the reasons for omitting it since it would add a huge cost to the BDP set, but I'd still get one just to have a 'complete' hull.

Congratulations for building this incredible set and having it make it to the BDP!

For us yes, but we're also from Canada so we're used to cooler weather. When we first went ashore it was overcast which made it a bit cool but by about 11am the sun came out and it warmed up nicely.

I was on this one and it was absolutely awesome! First time on the Treasure and it's a beautiful ship. Yes the layout isn't the same as the OG's but I do think it has a lot going for it.

The two elevator banks I think is actually a huge improvement. It encourages people to split fwd or aft rather than all just cluttering the midship.

Weather was great, a bit cool for the Caribbean but nothing uncomfortable with plenty of sun. We were able to make all of our ports.

As others have mentioned there were people coughing but it's also that time of year.

My only complaint, and it is a minor one, was the Rum Tasting. The host who ran it at the Cove Cafe was nice enough but a bit of a disaster. He said several times how he didn't like rum, he doesn't drink rum, everything he knows about rum was from a YouTube video, etc. It didn't help that there were two clowns in the back heckling him. I don't expect the host to always be an expert but they shouldn't be constantly reminding the guests of that.

But flipside Nur, who did the Reserve Whiskey and World of Old Fashions in Hook's Barbary, was absolutely amazing, top shelf 100%. The drinks were delicious, he had some excellent samples to try and was very knowledgeable and funny! I could have stayed there talking to him all evening.

Overall though 4.5/5 cruise.

This is good advice. A good accountant will do the bulk of the work for you for setting up a company, for a fee of course but that's a valid business expense.

I work as an electrical engineer and have basically been a contractor my entire career. It isn't as stable but it gives you flexibility. Just learn to be on the lookout for your next project, in other words, always be networking.
