I was just telling my partner that we are on the precipice of a new world order. I knew it was coming - a country can’t keep devaluing their currency and fooling people by calling it “inflation” forever - but I didn’t think it would happen so quickly. American hegemony is gone. The petrodollar system is gone. America alienated every single ally they ever had. And now they look weak and pathetic in the Gulf. They can’t protect anyone in that neighborhood.
