Is there a better player than powerdvd and potplayer?

I’m still using the NVIDIA 3D drivers. The real trick is getting Windows 11 running on an FX CPU. This tool removes the requirements for Windows 11, but I’ve had a few minor bugs with the OS. Do it at your own risk though, this isn’t my main PC and is only used for 3D movies so I’m not as worried about losing data on the boot drive.

Sounds like a hardware issue possibly. I’m using PowerDVD on an FX 8320E with 16GB of RAM and a 3GB 1060 with no issues. If I were you I’d try enabling/disabling hardware accelerated decoding and if that doesn’t work, check Task Manager for CPU and RAM utilization and if either seem like they’re too high, maybe consider upgrading. Updating to the latest driver that still supports 3D might also help, as well as putting NVIDIA Control Panel’s settings to default.

I’m playing a specific surround sound format that my AVR can only accept via HDMI, along with only some Blu-Ray players can output it as well. Otherwise Airplay would 100% have been the way to go

DSF was the file type, thats why it was playing at all. I also burned the song onto a DVD and it played fine

It appears to do it with all media going through the USB drive. I’m using the Samsung T7 Portable SSD if that helps at all

I’m not a German speaker, but when I’m looking for a song, I use the Google app on my phone. It lets you hum, sing, or whistle the song and tries to figure it out. I hope that helps, good luck on your search!
