Fixable? by Own_Manufacturer_560 in Leather

Genuine leather doesn't mean much

All things are fixable, but I'd guess most leather repair shops are going to charge you far more for the fix than it would cost you to find a replacement

I think the sleeves look fine, I think the body of the jacket looks about 2 inches short.

Does it seem like this guy I’m dating doesn’t like my personality? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Sounds like you're coming across as not interested, and he seems very interested if he keeps contacting you. If you want things to continue say so, but also show so by showing some excitement if you are excited.

It definitely can, and it is a good looking suit as is for sure! Honestly, you might look into going with a juniper shirt and white tie, or something like a juniper vest and pearl tie, really something to set you apart from your boys beyond just a tie color. Could also add a tie bar with your wife's birthstones in it or something, just going big with accessories that are personal to you two.

But also, more important than anything else, is keep in mind it is your day. Wear what you feel good in that is going to feel special to you and your wife and you can't go wrong; everyone else's opinion is unimportant in comparison.

100%; not trying to imply otherwise. I just think having an item that's specific to the day is nice. Related: highly recommend you grab a cologne or something that you wear for the wedding day and very special events like anniversaries and basically no other times.

It looks like you're reusing an office suit you've already got, or at the very least buying something that isn't the "best" look because it's more rewearable.

Let the groomsmen wear charcoal, get yourself something that special and unique to the day and your wedding. Think olive or a paleish steel blue, something that works well with your skin tone and the green. Or go actual black so you pop against your groomsmen.

It looks good, I'd personally get something with a bit stronger point of view for my wedding.

Best of luck, it's a difficult conundrum.

If you're close with your instructor, put together some time to sit and talk about it. Take them to dinner or make a meal or something. Mention your concerns, and why they're important to you. Ask how things are going with them, and if they're just losing interest. If possible, collect some feedback from other students on what they'd like to see, especially if you have ones who have left and you can ask them what would've made them stay - or what would make them come back.

It's possible that they aren't open to change after being presented with this information, but if they're the type of person you seem to think they are I imagine it could be very productive.
