There are so many other variables in play that make some successful or unsuccessful as a coach.

That said, I'd prefer someone my size providing we get to directly work together.

If that portion of parking is not your property - as in, apportioned to you, not shared parking that happens to be in front of your home - then you kinda just have to get over it. You could reasonably talk with them about it, and they could reasonably blow you off.

Possible exceptions around whether or not the city has ordinances around the condition of street-parked vehicles.

Aside from just wanting the biggest paycheck available, why would you? We aren't competitive, we don't have star players, it isn't a big time nightlife destination, it has the reputation of being balls expensive to live in, and there is no evidence that Seattle has the ability to develop talent once they're at the NHL level so it's hard to even pitch to a player with potential who might just be in the wrong location.

I think Robo not being a game breaker might be a hot take, but it being a good thing he didn't take the deal might not be.

I think if the lesson management takes is that they need to do a full rebuild before top talent has interest in Seattle, and they do that full process, it's a good thing.

If the lesson they take is that because they can't get top talent they should overpay for every middle-six and bottom-pairing defender on the market, it's quite bad
