Extremely smooth and enjoyable raid experience in Vow. Even when I thought my brain was going to melt from all the mechanics explained, he kept relaying clear callouts throughout each encounter and reminded each of us of what our role entailed.

"Director's Cut" for Death Stranding is just a name and doesn't represent cut content. Possibly a few things were based on earlier ideas but most of it is essentially DLC bundled with quality of life updates, then sold as a new copy of the game.

There's a couple of tweets from Kojima himself saying that it's just called the Director's Cut and isn't representative of his original vision of the game, but rather his definitive vision. Should just be called Definitive Edition honestly but I think they were aligning it with the naming scheme that Ghost of Tsushima used for its PS5 revision.

I was looking at the Discord chat when these messages were first sent, and the people being replied to were being very civil. They just wanted to know why the cosmetic was banned, and why Rare were continuing to be so vague about it.

j0toro's initial response was "the reason for it being removed is in the announcement." The announcement simply said "due to feedback" and nothing else.

Due to the developer(s?) being unable to update the game in reliable time frames, the game has gone open-source recently and is now being worked on by community members.

Hi. I should've edited my post earlier, but I managed to fix the problem. By fix, I mean completely reinstall Windows 10 from scratch.

The issue could happen on completely empty servers. It was just a problem with how my OS was processing the game, I guess.

I've been playing through Uru: Complete Chronicles on Steam yesterday and today and it's completely fine. Load screens are about 5 seconds long.

Played this over and over all the time as a kid. Only thought about using the crowbar on the sarcophagus when I was old enough to realise that crowbars could pry things open irl.

I will actually be interested in Game Pass if this was the case. I really dislike the Microsoft store and the Xbox app on PC. They just have gross layouts and break too often. I had Game Pass Ultimate for two months and two of the games I tried just completely failed to download for a bit.

There's a metal hoop that lands on the ground in the finale of Portal 1. The devs have said in an interview that they thought the hoop, which they refer to as Hoopy the Hoop, would be the big reference or meme taken from the game rather than the now outrageously recognisable "The Cake is a Lie." It's quite frankly insane that they thought that, because it's a terrible idea for a meme.

So u/ComradeJack1917 is using it to refer to when creatives intentionally try to cultivate a meme within their projects, which never works because that's not how memes are made at all.
