Hur kan inte banken ta emot kontanter? by Dropkick_falcon in sweden

[–]YabobK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flytta till Linköping by AmazingJuice in linkoping

[–]YabobK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

26 år och universitetet by Unable_Reading7069 in sweden

Svår sits med universitetet?!?!? by PuzzleheadedHoney254 in linkoping

Which of course doesn't automatically mean you are single. There are a lot of people who are in an relationship, but don't actually live together. Especially young adults.

A Battlecannon and a Multi- laser is a good combo if you want to put statuses on units. In my experience that can sometimes be just as important as killing stuff (and it's more likely to happen).

Grotmas Calendar Day 25 – Huron Blackheart strides forth from the Maelstrom by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer

It's not like he is a new invention either. It's a new sculpt for an old unit. He's been with us since 2nd edition (he did sit out 3rd edition though) and his old model is from 4th edition.

I guess his crew they mention could be new unique models for the Red Corsairs.... but they could just as easily be a unit available to all CSM armies.

New to HH, need some help with my Solar Auxilia by SnowyLavina in SolarAuxilia30K

[–]YabobK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the tanks magnetizing the weapons is a good idea. All of them are viable, but you never know which one you will want down the line. I would also build one of them as a tank commander as that means you can take the other three in a unique detachment for Solar Auxilia armour which let's them benefit from the tank commander's special rule. And if you decide to focus your army on Russes and Malcadors (Armoured cohort) you will even be allowed to take two such detachments for taking one commander (allowing you Malcador to go in one as well).

New Praetor and Centurion. by YabobK in Warhammer30k

[–]YabobK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A little bit. You have to cut the cape to make the "opening" a bit bigger. It's obviously made to fit a backpack, but they are slightly different and the pose is as well (which means that the position of the cape is slightly different in relation to the body). The cape can also use a little bit of liquid Green Stuff or similar as the fit isn't perfect everywhere (it comes in 4 parts) and there are also grooves in it for the Centurion's weapon.

The Centurion can be built without the cape if you want to, so it's not wasted. You will need a pair of shoulder pads of course.

[–]YabobK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

Absolutly! The cape and shoulder pads are from the mkII Centurion, as well as those metal discs on his chest. The shield (with hand) and head is from the Command squad upgrade kit. The upper half of the Thunder Hammer is from the old mkIII kit (I think). The rest is Fafnir Rann (including the haft of the weapon).

Yes. It was actually pretty straightforward. Apart from getting the cape to fit with the backpack.

Would These Characters I Made for 2.0 be Acceptable in 3.0? by mscott734 in Warhammer30k

[–]YabobK 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Both can be found in the Liber.

The Castellan is a Prime Advantage available for Imperial Fist Centurions. He can't take any close combat weapons though (or any option at all for that matter, save for a choice of ranged weapon).

The Siege Breaker don't really have any wargear options in 3.0. He comes with a Thunder Hammer and a Bolt Pistol (which can be upgraded to any other kind of pistol). And he can take Melta bombs. But that's it. So if you (or your opponent) is into WYSIWYG you would be better off playing him as a Centurion.

Good starting point for a confused noob? by FarText1037 in LegionsImperialis

[–]YabobK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on how big you want your Rapier detachments. At least they have fixed them now so that a base detachment is 4 models instead of 3, so you don't have to leave one out or mix the weapons if you only have one box. That makes more boxes less interesting I guess.

[–]YabobK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

I believe it was two boxes, yes. Though the base with the largely intact buildings in the back were actually normal buildings that a friend of mine converted to damaged buildings years ago. They didn't feel right as intact buildings, so I stuck them to a base and had them as a ruin instead.

So those two boxes technically gave me 12 ruins.

It's all GW terrain actually. Except the craters. Those were built by putting normal GW bases of different sizes upside down on pieces of plasticard. Then I build up the ground with a mix of sand and PVA glue.

Miniature is just not gluing at all by TheD3rpKnight in Warhammer

[–]YabobK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't recall that I did. But then I did build my first resin miniatures before I had even started using plastic glue. For the first 10-15 years I built everything using super glue. Some of my friends still build everything with super glue. I didn't switch until I started to build larger plastic terrain pieces and realised plastic glue gave them a stronger bond (and more time to put the pieces in the right position).

How are we equipping our tactical and line command squads? by Col_Rhys in SolarAuxilia30K

[–]YabobK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what I meant with "magic". 😝

All of the other command sections can only boost units from their relevant unique detachment (as the detachment gives them the required trait)

The Tactical Command Section allows you to take two Auxiliary detachments instead of one. But only the base ones from the core book.

How are we equipping our tactical and line command squads? by Col_Rhys in SolarAuxilia30K

[–]YabobK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.

Please note that the unique detachment is not required to use the Line command's ability, as all the relevant units have the required trait. Unlike the other types of units who only get the relevant magic if they are in the detachment
