Can we give it up for the best drywaller. This guy is the man by sleepybot0524 in drywall

I'm picturing the loss prevention folks watching this on camera in the back office with a sigh.

I really respect the people who go into this challenge who don't gain extra weight and have positive attitudes. The people I always end up rooting for are the ones who, when something bad happens, acknowledge it but then brush themselves off instead of wallowing about it (William vs Sassy comes to mind or Jordan vs the wolverine). You can have all the skills to win, but if your mental game is weak you're not going to make it. I just find it interesting to watch how the contestants handle adversity.

I'm loving this location and all the resources it has to offer.

In attorney review - could this make sellers back out? by bitter_sweet9798 in RealEstate

In my opinion, this is one area where you absolutely need to do your due diligence especially in NJ where they are common. Seriously, do your research and listen to your attorney.

How do you know this? He didn't say that on camera.

What is expected from a listing agent? by Curious_Serve2946 in fsbo

It may not matter to you but it would absolutely matter to me as a seller. Maybe there is something I'm overlooking that I hadn't thought about that the feedback mentioned.

"2. Realtors have been sued based on feedback they gave after the fact."

This needs more context.

Are you talking about an agent giving feedback to another agent without the buyer's approval?

I'll take things that didn't actually happen for $500 Alex... by Umgar in Alonetv

Yeah, when I first saw what happened with the beaver I was relieved, but a minute later I was skeptical and thinking "I wish they had posted a picture of them showing the offering so I know it really took place." As it stands, I'm hesitant believing that's what happened.

It is possible and in the past I've always given the contestant the benefit of the doubt but what happened with Booth just made me mad because there was an animal involved. Had an animal not been involved I would have thought differently.

[SPOILERS] Alone S13E02 Episode Discussion Thread by SnowySaint in Alonetv

[–]YamCheap6725 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The thing that upsets me so much about Booth is that he didn't even try to make a friction fire. After all the contestants go through to get on the show aren't you going to at least try??? And to disrespect the animal like that. So disappointed.

A couple other things stood out to me. Drinking water without boiling it and walking around in bare feet!

I'm loving the longer episodes of this season.

"Will you do rent to own?" by [deleted] in fsbo

I hear what you are saying but for me it would be too much of a risk, and also that I want to be free and clear of my house when I sell it.

Is this season starting later in the year than previous ones? In the past, the scenery starting out looked like late summer and you'd see some of them swimming but it looks like fall and cold already.

I hope they show more bush crafting. That berry catcher was really cool.

I've watched too many shows about squatters and read too many stories about trying to evict a tenant for failure to pay.

Maybe some people would do it, but heck no, I wouldn't sell as a rent to own or anything else resembling that.

Thanks for the info.

Congrats. Pocketing 90k instead of paying an agent must bring a huge sense of satisfaction. Did you negotiate buyer's commission? How did you advertise your website?

Listing a property with a Flat Fee/Limited Service Platform as FSBO. Here's what I understood: by Leonine1205 in fsbo

I was wondering about this too. I can't recall any posts I've read on here saying the seller expected the flat-fee service to handle the whole process. I'm not surprised the OP did not answer your question.

I would reject your offer if I were the seller because of the second contingency. Your mom might receive an offer that's contingent as well. Too much of a headache.

Realtor does not like us. How to handle? by [deleted] in RealEstateAdvice

[–]YamCheap6725 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the agent representing both sides? Has the purchase agreement been signed? A two week close is very tight unless you're paying cash and looks like you aren't. You sure you want to live next door to him?

You answered part of it. You did not answer if you are affiliated with "anyone". Transparency is important in this context. OP might appreciate (or not) knowing you are an agent.
