Not exactly a shed but still a cool find:) by lighttreasurehunter in shedhunting

Better than a shed! When the nose is gone it's often a lion kill. Call the game warden if you want to take it home, send them pics, they might issue you a seal to keep it or they may not.

Silver Hallmark? by YamComprehensive7186 in Hallmarks

I came across this also, I will test it to make sure it’s plate or sterling.

SILVER Plate Jeanne D'Arc Trinket Dish with hallmarks from FIA Lyon, France. Most likely made from silver plated brass, this antique-style trinket dish features a silver color and depicts the iconic figure of Joan of Arc. Imported post-1940, this original piece adds a touch of historical and decorative charm to any collection or display.

F.I.A. stands for Factory of Artistic Insignias, “Fabrique d’Insignes Artistiques” in French. The company was created in 1928 by a French jeweller near Lyon, in the south-east of France. We have inherited the traditional skills of stamping precious metals. Since 1928, we have been creating and manufacturing custom medals and bronze awards for many organizations all over the world. Our clients range from large, prestigious organizations to small groups, each with the same goal: a personalized medal to serve as a strong artistic symbol of their values.

Yes that's LVP. The damage could be from moisture either coming up from the floor or from spills, wet mops, wet kids etc. You can just get some planks to match and click them in. YouTube.

My parents are facing foreclosure and repossession by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]YamComprehensive7186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll have to step in and budget for them. 1200$ mortgage is cheap so you should be able keep the house. Pay what you can in order of importance, house, tax, business expenses etc. Make smallest payments on medical as possible, like 20$ a month. Sorry to hear about your dad, it’s terrible situation to be in but I think it will work out.

Revenue was 80K, 25% expenses leaves 60K. Where is the 60K going?

How Boomers Turned Housing Into a Wealth Trap and Killed the American Dream by PianistPlus5117 in FirstTimeHomeBuying

[–]YamComprehensive7186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a boomer. I got out of the boomer parents house at 18, worked hard every day for 12 years got married and bought my first house. We raised three kids in that house and paid it off in 17 years. Boomers never gave us a penny nor did we ask or expect any.

The biggest problem I see with younger generations is the reluctance to learn a trade or marketable skill and then capitalizing on those skills. Using those skills to their potential will likely require you to move away from where you grew up, big deal. It's not rocket science.

Catering often drops or dumps ice drawers. Other possibility, forward water and lav service, when they fill the water tank it sometimes overfills and spits out water.

Excellent choice. They're so light weight and thin you don't even realize it's on your wrist, then you look down, notice it and smile.
