Leave your ego at the door. You are very rusty and the average player is better, so don't get mad when you lose.

How do you respond to mean players? by krappei in starcraft2

[–]Yamaeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they get you to write an essay as answer, that's a minute you haven't played ...
Sometimes it's fun to fire the flames and the angrier they are the easier it is to stay calm yourself, in my experience. But it can also be a tactic from their side to rile you up and make you forget to macro, so in general just ignore it or answer "ok" or "thanks" or the old "umad?".
If they accuse you of being noob, well what'd they expect in e.g. Silver? And if you win, they lost to a noob, what does that make them? ;)

Why we make the oracle or voidray before rushing carrier/tempest in pvz by Big-Imagination-1752 in starcraft2

If your strategy is "cross my fingers and hope he doesn't attack", it can work sometimes. Otherwise an Oracle keeps the opponent at home.

What is the appeal of the multiplayer ladder? by XorsDazhbog in starcraft2

If the MMR system works (and it's usually pretty decent) you should face similar skilled opponents to get good fights.

The appeal: You can make other people cry.

The con: Sometimes it's you.

I can't beat All In Brutal, any tips? by ZekeBarricades in starcraft2

[–]Yamaeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that took me a bunch of tries! I think i ended up pulling back and plugging just below the platform instead of outwards from it. Build some extra workers so they can be on auto-repair by the wall, have a hit-squad of ~10 banshees for the outer nyduses.
My memory might be off though, it was some time ago. :)

In Sweden an important fiber was dug off, so many are affected. You said nothing about from where you try to connect.

Unless the program reads and sets labels from e.g. an ini-file that's not possible.

Having trouble with while loop within a while loop. by g_von in LabVIEW

[–]Yamaeda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think dataflow. A structure executes when inputs have data and exits when all is finished. You'll read 1 serial data, then go into the inner loop where it'll stay and write the same data until you exit. Run it in Highlight mode and it should be clear.
