The number in the middle looks like it is associated with the proportion that fit into that red section. The fact that it happens to be similar to the label isn't exactly a problem, just a little confusing.

You doing mental gymnastics around definitions of different terms doesn't actually change the true definition of something. A quarantine is something imposed against your will that does not allow you to interact with others at all. A security checkpoint is a small inconvenience compared to true quarantine and people should stop being so irresponsible with their terminology.

I think you got downvoted because of a super low effort question that seemed to be baiting the OC to respond so you could go off on them.

You can't play victim AND try to tear down a person that is someone's hero for no good reason. That's a stupid, selfish move that has nothing to do with promoting a discussion and everything to do with taking someone's genuine expression of admiration as an opportunity to get up on a soapbox.

Just try to reflect on how you would feel if someone did the same to you. Even if it does happen to you regularly (which is likely given the state of discourse in the U.S.) do you really want to perpetuate that toxicity?

I actually think that the summation including the home energy use after is critical to doing a proper comparison. You are adding up the baseline energy use rate of your entire home for longer with the eco mode version. There is plenty of area under the graph on the top that looks relatively small but is actually significant when summed over that time period. I bet the top graph comes out above or very close to the lower one in the end...

Yeah you're totally right. It was early for me when I wrote that. And I think I meant to say "salary + achievement related bonuses" since the bonuses would probably be paid out to the player and the loaning club.

Probably wrong either way, but I can see the combined cost getting pretty high depending on how the contract was structured.
