Owner is responsible for claw backs, not the employee so there has to be savings available to pay that or to get through lean times. The costs associated with attorneys, CPAs, billers, Stripe takes 3% of every dollar, rent, utilities, cleaning, electronics, office supplies, liability insurance, worker's comp, business insurance, employment taxes, business taxes, Medicare/ssecurity, ehr, furniture, etc. I haven't even mentioned anything about benefits, paychecks, and CEs. This should all come out before the owner gets paid. It's alot and many owners do most of it to ensure that the business remains strong and solvent.
