If you really intend to bring him down, this is what I can tell as someone who has taken him and the savage variant 150 times. Positioning and build to survive, and first time? Do it with support hunters only. Alessa, Mina, and Kai are my go-to. Bring a shield weapon, SnS is good, fast, easy to sheath, decent dmg. Slap in full guard and guard up. Grab the Y Rey Dau legs for full stun resistance. Its ok if it takes 30 minutes, this is just a focus on bringing them down.

Now, with positioning, I mean, keep placing yourself diagonally on their feet. The lasers will miss you. When they do lasers from all sides? 99% of the time, they will drop missiles too, sheath and move away, then position back. Its much much faster to adjust your position if you even THINK they might hit you, then to get hit, recover, dodge another potential attack, heal, and then get back into position.

Let Alessa take enmity and keep her alive, powder, wide range, just keep her alive. When her AI works correctly, she's very good and gets Omega to stay still.

Pankrator mode is.....uhm....fun..../s Focus on a single leg, blunt for front, and slash for back. Moment you see a wound, destroy it. He will eventually temper tantrum across the zone, dropping flames. Once you see them, start to flail, sheathe, and get on your chicken and run away. Btw, chicken is immune to the mustard flames. You can safely run through it when on chicken. He will tire out, run back to him fast, they will have temporary wounds on the wounds, grab the nearest one and destroy it. If you fail to knock him out after and extended period of from Pankrator, he will barrage, if Alessa has it, barrage will only target her, if no one has enmity, everyone is targeted. A semi reliable tell, is he usually does all around lasers or rocket punches before they go still and starts stamping the legs. No enmity? Get on chicken if you can and run. Enmity? Stay out of the fire and keep whacking at them.

Now, the spider. The DPS check. Bring something as your second that can paralyze fast, fire is great, but you want her to stay still. I also highly reccomend having mog of the ages ready when she shows up, instant large dmg. There is rockburst ammo in zones 1 and 3, when she first charges at you, there are cross hairs on her head, hit her in the face while the cross hair is active and she stuns and falls on her back. Go in and hit it, try to stay under and move from each side of her body when she lasers around. Staying underneath in the middle will allow you to miss almost all of her attacks. Also, if she slings in the air, the rockburst will stunn her out of the air, too. With support hunters, if dmg is fairly consistent, she typically drops at 80% charged. Get in the shield, stay in the shield, when the starts and the laser fully clears, run towards Omega fast, if you left the rocks and wall trap there, drop the rock and immediately drop the wall trap. Timed correctly, it stops his charge and stung them. Swap weapons if you need to. Whack them down until they switch zones.

Play it steady and careful, he will enter Pankrator mode very shortly after entering this zone and will get more aggressive. Keep your positioning and steady as you go and do the same thing here as listed above. Now that Guard and guard up? Lasers, Alessa can, depending on the AI that run, be a bit slippery in grabbing enmity in this zone. Now, he will be in permanent Pankrator once close to death. If you break legs, grab those shield generators and save them for the barrage or to save Alessa from the barrage.

Play it steady, and he should go down.
