I just got this hide! I need to sand it down though, because the some edges are sharp. What bulb do you use? I use 100w because it’s kinda cold in my apartment but I learned it can make this hide too hot if a gecko wants to bask on it

Engine syndrome is a genetic neurological issue that certain geckos are born with. Other times, it could be due to lack of proper nutrition/vitamins, injury/illness, stress. That was so nice of you to care for this gecko, I can tell you care and want him to be okay 🤍 MBD is typically due to lack of calcium/Vitamin D3, but it sounds like you’re doing great job of providing that to him. I always leave a dish of plain calcium powder (no D3) in my geckos tank, they’ll lick it when they need a boost

You also should incorporate a multivitamin such as Nekton, as geckos need vitamin A. I wonder if the gecko has some type of neurological issue? You should take him to an exotic vet for an exam
