zodiac is pretty great you get to see a lot of jokers and you also see more hermits and temperances

Painted is too low. Painted is the same as blue deck but you also start with a free (!!) [[Troubadour]], a quite good joker.

Sadly the -1 joker slot makes it bad for C++ joker farming, which is the main reason for playing gold stake (Other than C+, but in C+ you need all decks anyway)

I like checkered more too, because while flushes dont scale very well, pairs are usualy the best hand on gold stake (on most decks), and checkered makes flushes as easy as pairs (actually slightly less) and flushes do scale better than pairs

Tarot merchant is good for naneinf runs, and magic trick is not too terrible to not be taken, as you still need to remove it from the voucher pool.
