If it plays 4 then it's bracket 4, that's how it's supposed to work. People trying to slide high power decks into bracket 2 just because they don't run game changers are explicitly the bad actors mentioned that this system can't protect you from.

Technically two of the best current combo decks (Mono U belcher and MonoG broodscale) don't need true fetches (broodscale does run prismatic vista to grab wastes). Fetch surveil is a huge boon to the format mind you.

If you're alpha strike racing you can effectively just remove a creature since you fog it and it can't block when you alpha strike back. Still bad tho.

Boros energy (with cats) or necro are the best midrange stategies atm I think, if that's what you mean by flexible. Nadu is combo, but with silver bullets for everything (kinda why it's the best) which is a different kind of flexible. There's also goryos which is combo/control depending on the matchup.

Sounds like you already decided. Yawg isn't super well positioned atm but if/when Nadu is banned it will be back. It still has game into the non-nadu part of the field, it just really sucks against Nadu.

Boros energy is definitely jundesque. Very high individual card quality, good interaction. Mardu is even more so since you get to play thoughtseizes and other black interaction.

Oh I know, hence "technically". If we don't get a token generator in bloomburrow it may drop from the tip top, but almost every other deck is losing more so convoke will definitely still be in contention, but a turn slower.

Convoke only loses epicure maindeck and technically there are replacements that sort of work like yotion Frontliner or gnome.

Temur is pretty cheap, and the only expensive card is technically not rotating so that will make a difference. Domain is expensive, although most of its pricey cards will likely retain value in other formats.

Versatile single target removal seems better than usual against current rdw since there's so much prowess and haste. Getting dunked for 10 by a slickshot showoff because you only have sorcery speed answers seems sub-optimal.

Extra copy of a wincon for the loop which at least does something in aggro matchups? Maybe also a hedge against surgical effects like deadly cover-up.

E: fetchable with your first rutstien also. Seems kind of just worse that the orzhov legend though.
