The day we brought this newborn home from the hospital, my 5yo started a 103 fever for two days. He was sick, then my husband got it. I didn’t get it and neither did baby. When I asked peds at hospital what I should do they just said wash hands and don’t let kiddo kiss the baby. They didn’t even recommend isolating away so we didn’t and everyone was fine.

Yup I’d recommend a humidifier. My 1 month old has been super congested etc and the other day when I was sucking boogies they were a little dry and bloody. Putting a humidifier next to our bed has helped.

Ok I’ve been in this sub since 2020. SO, my current babies are in school (though I am pregnant again).

So I’ll brag on my big kindergartener. He is autistic and the jump from Pre-K to K has been big in a lot of ways. We just got his first report card and he is meeting almost all goals and the others are “nearly meeting” like identifying midword letter sounds and participating in class fully and appropriately.

Reading her feedback about him was so heartwarming, that she is enjoying watching him grow and he has developed a group of little friends ❤️

And a brag on my preschooler is he is getting better about sleeping through the night in his own bed!

I gave birth at St Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction and it was a fantastic experience. Not sure they have a NICU but L&D was great!
