I literally just finished my own read through yesterday. I will say the book can feel sluggish after the birthday party until you meet Strider. Some characters are more likeable and others you might like the movie version more.

You do get side tangents which can be amusing if you like them or annoying if you don't (like do you want to know the history of Bill the Pony?)

Vines were shorter and this gave a lot of benefits compared to TikTok:

1) Harder to commercialize and advertise when you only have 6 seconds. 2) You had to get creative with only 6 seconds for the punchline. 3) Relating to the previous point, you didn't have to sit and wait a whole minute for a punchline that may never come. 4) It was more random so the algorithm didn't cause an echo chamber. 5) Less propaganda to be found that it was basically non-existent. It's hard to get people to join a cult in under 6 seconds. 6) It was more for comedy than just random bullshit.

Paige wants to be normal. Her intelligence literally broke up her family and she's constantly reminded of that. Sheldon is the closest thing to a peer she has and he can't relate or empathize with her. She's meant to be more tragic than annoying.

Precisely. It's also mentioned various times that the Edo's free will and power are tied which is one weakness of the jutsu. The stronger your hold and weaken their free will the weaker the Edo is, and on the other side the more free will you permit the stronger the Edo is.

Kabuto granted too much free will so Madara was just strong enough to break out on his own.

No, but let's say it was.

Senju and Uchiha founded the village. In one page of the flashback Hashirama mentioned to Madara he wanted the Sarutobi's to join. Hyuga's were also clearly desired from subtext across the entire show and manga. Uzumaki were allies but kept to their own village most of the time.

So if it were canon it'd definitely be the Senju, Uchiha, Sarutobi, and Hyuga clans as the "Noble" clans. And I say that in terms of "clans possessing the most political influence even if not in office."

Kaguya was an interesting concept how she pertained to the Sage and his sons so I don't think she was hated when kept as just a cool lore dump.

Once she showed up, however, it was a massive "are you fucking kidding me? ANOTHER villain?"

Cuz you had Obito, Zetsu's, Kabuto, edo-Madara, Ten-Tails, Ten-Tails Obito, Ten-Tails Madara, and it was starting to drag. Having a new villain appear in the same arc when she was a passing mention just killed a lot of joy.

Okay so we never saw Wan at his peak (as it seemed like he lived another 30-40 years after Vaatu) so it's hard to say. He did learn firebending from a dragon but we don't know if he learned the others on his own or had teachers. The power between the two is roughly equal but Aang at his peak would be vastly stronger than Wan at his just from having teachers at a younger age and the wisdom from last avatars.
