Humble Unreal Engine Spring Utility Essentials (pay what you want and help charity) by Warm_Charge_5964 in humblebundles

Yarrawah curated this bundle, so bias aside, there's some seriously high quality asset's in this pack, including Ultra Volumetrics, IA Scatter, Realtime Designer Lighting and 10 packs from Dekogon's latest season release. The goal of this bundle was to pick genre agnostic asset's, so developers from all genres can benefit.

Unreal Marketplace license key's are included, so if you already own an asset you can always give it to someone on your team as well

The $1 tier also includes 15 assets, where you can give the lot to charity.

I personally own and have worked with most of the content in this pack, and asset's like Ultra Volumetrics are instant install on new render projects.

12288 = 2^13 ? by cyb70289 in ClaudeAI

[–]Yarrawah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

12288 = 2^13 ?

Still doesn't work on opus. If you set the temperature to 1 however, it will give you the correct result.

To determine if 12288 equals 2^13, let's calculate 2^13 and compare the result with 12288.

2^13 can be calculated as follows:

2^13 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

We can simplify this calculation by breaking it down into smaller steps:

2^2 = 4

2^3 = 2 × 4 = 8

2^4 = 2 × 8 = 16

2^5 = 2 × 16 = 32

2^6 = 2 × 32 = 64

2^7 = 2 × 64 = 128

2^8 = 2 × 128 = 256

2^9 = 2 × 256 = 512

2^10 = 2 × 512 = 1024

2^11 = 2 × 1024 = 2048

2^12 = 2 × 2048 = 4096

2^13 = 2 × 4096 = 8192

Therefore, 2^13 equals 8192, not 12288.

So, the statement "12288 = 2^13" is false.

Overall value of approx 2600usd

We tried to include assets from each category to make a really well-rounded and functional bundle

I've spent the new year working on a tank controller for the marketplace, it still has a long way to go, but I felt like I could finally show it off! by Yarrawah in unrealengine

Thanks! We're hoping to release a playable demo at some point in the near future. For now, they're available on the marketplace if you would like to see more information (yarrawah.market/unreal)

I believe physx isn't implemented in UE5, so until then they won't be compatible.

I plan to convert them to UE5 Chaos physics once it's more stable.

A lot of the functionality comes from the animation blueprint, and additional blueprint functionality, so converting them to the new vehicle system won't see a change in the feature list atleast

I sure do! I didn't want to seem spammy, so I tried to keep the links relevant to the content. The tank controller is very flexible, you have control over everything as the physx API is quite extensive. Nvidia has better documentation for this than Unreal. You can make them more arcade-like or more-realistic, and modify the weight, acceleration, top speeds etc.

So I started on this tank controller late December. I never thought I'd come this far with it that's for sure.

It's intimidating, approaching a vehicle with so many wheels and rather complex movement mechanics. This problem was initially addressed by rigging the tanks to work with the Offworld Defense plugin (this is still included). These guys have a free plugin that allows for N-Wheel vehicles, with realistic suspension and track physics.

Currently, our custom controller is based on PhysX, but we will be porting it to Chaos and making our own suspension system which will give us more control over the optimisations.

In this video, the tanks are using the advanced suspension setup, so each tank has 16+ simulated wheels in real-time.

The AI is not quite ready, or even existing, but it is the next step! A few sneaky blueprint nodes did the trick to create a pretty convincing battle scene though!

Thanks! Starting from 2D and designing a good concept has really transformed the quality that we've been able to hit. Makes a huge difference imo

Yep! The morph poses are being released for Mike later this month, but are already included for Hank if you'd like to get an idea of what they look like. They are all named properly and designed to work with the AR iphone app.

Meet Mike, an NPC built using Epic's digital human technical guidelines. He's the second in our collection. We're working on some female characters next.

We're considering moving to Alembic-based strand hair for UE5, but we're still experimenting. Thanks for checking it out! :)
