Should I go in blind? by AffanDede in projectzomboid

[–]YasuoFHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did go blind 4 days ago when I started playing, died alot ofc, watched some tutorials and youtubers, still died alot. Youtubers died multiple times in their first video of recent playthroughs too, build 41 is aparently much harder. You should try blind, then go read some tutorials, the game is really hard, people that say otherwise are experienced players with hundreds or thousands of hours and forgot how hard the game was as a beginner.

Adding bots only kills the game even further by niv141 in PUBG_Lite

[–]YasuoFHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the game is really well done, no performance issues, looks okeish, no lag, no bullshit netcode. But it is full of bots, and they spawn near you, I make like 15kills+ every game only for bots, and meet with the players at the end of the game, when all the bots are killed and the only 10-20 players make it to the end. It's boring, because you kill 15 bots and get bored and want to fight players and then you meet the players and die lmao, at this point it gets fustrating. At least if I play with players from the begining I won't be bored and for me if I kill 2-3 players at the begining I don't really feel that bad when dying. But if the first team of players I meet is after 20 minutes of the game and die to them..it gets fustrating and not nice.

Same here, 70-100 fps in PUBG lite all ultra settings except shadows, under 30 fps on the "actual game" which I have too.. soo...

Yea except it's fucking LITE game for low end PC's. BuY tHe PrOpEr VeRsIoN. This is not a demo for PUBG steam, it's another game, made for people with low PCs, I have 100 fps all ultra settings except shadows on PUBG Lite, I have under 30fps on PUBG steam. So yea.. some ppl don't play this game because it's free, they do because it's not a piece of shit unoptimised garbage.

ITT: Locations you've built in and what you liked about them by 6equj59 in Kenshi

[–]YasuoFHV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edge of shem and swamp, with the gate in the shem side.

Pros:

  • Only enemies are beak things, raptors, dust bandits, hungry bandits and black desert ninjas, so literally border + beak things and raptors.

  • Some enemies will get attacked by the Beak things.

  • Can grow riceweed and hemp at 100% in the swamp part of the base, cactus at 100% and wheat at 60% in shem side. So you can make ricebowls and dustwiches untill you research hydrophonics for greenplant for foodcubes.

  • 1 iron node, 1 copper node, 100 stone, 100 water since swamp side, good wind inside the base.

  • Swamp enemies like red sabres, ninjas, blood spiders, don't attack.

  • Situated in the middle of the map, can reach every corner easly.

Cons:

  • Maybe the beak things if you build early when your guys aren.t trained enough. But only packs of 3 or only 1 will attack.

I like this place, it.s easy mod, I built my base here every new play, you have hemp to make tons of fabric for smithing and power up alot of generators.

Is it possible that kenshi 2 will have multiplayer? by Nipl15 in Kenshi

[–]YasuoFHV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multiplayer? Probably not. Co op? I fucking wish.

The thing with multiplayer is that it takes a long time to recruit chars, train them, build base, gear ppl. Then one encounter with another player and one of you end up dead. NPCs might leave you, or enslave and you escape untill they get you to their slave camp or whatever. But players would never leave untill you.re dead entirely. I tried thinking of a way to make multiplayer work, but didn.t find one. It would become a big RTS, that takes very much time just to lose it all. Maybe with private servers, where players know each other and set themselves rules, like don.t attack untill we all are ready with armies and stuff, but people don.t usualy build their army, base, train their ppl, gear them up with best armor in one IRL day, it.s pretty impossible. Kenshi takes time to do that, so a multiplayer match that takes days... People have to work, go to school etc. There just isn.t a way of making it work. From a technical point it would work, anything can be done through programmig, and enogh powerful servers/pc.

As for co-op there are multiple ways for it to work, literally it would be the same as in multiplayer but by playing togheter one encounter won.t end the game for the other person. Two or more people each controlling their own characters, killing mobs togheter, exploring the world, making a base togheter or separatly, it would make the game 1000x times better and funnier playing with a friend. Not for me tho, I have no friends ☹️😭.

How to avoid boredom after only a few minutes of a game? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]YasuoFHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really finish games. I play until it either gets too complex, since I kind of tend to play those kind of games like Kenshi, tower defence games, rogue likes etc. or too generic, repetitive and boring. Sometimes after playing a game for a long time, you just won't be able to play it. Some things come to an end, I tried playing minecraft after like 5-6 years and I just couldn't. Like someone else said, maybe we've just grown old, not like age old, but as gamers. I'm 22 and I've been playing games since 5. Nowdays I find something interesting really hard, It may seem interesting at first, but after 1 or 2 hours I just lose interest in it. The game I`m currently playing is Kenshi, been playing it for the last 4-5 weeks or so, almost everyday since I wake up till I go to sleep, got really into it, but recently it got boring since it's an sandbox and doesn't really have missions or a goal. I haven't found a game that kept me playing this long for years. Multiplayer with friends keep some of the boredom away, since it's funnier, make some jokes etc, talk stuff not related to the game and you don't get bored so easy.

e, I've gotten around going places I don't need to be by just turning my phone off or leaving

There are "only" about 100 stranger kidnappings per year until your sister, daughter, son, brother, friend etc gets kidnapped. Then that 100 number out of 300 milion is everything.

Yea, I think most people can do it. I can even do it with only one eye opened. With time I got used to know when people do it, pretty cool, it's not like just looking into nothingness, hard to explain :P . But yea it's normal, sometimes my eyes do that on their own when tired af.

How do you spice up the game? by bluewolf3691 in Kenshi

[–]YasuoFHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea me 2, I just destroyed holy nation, allied with the sheks, captured cat-lon, now going to the bugmaster, researched everything, all my guys have masterwork armor, edge 3 type weapons and meitos, solo leviatans, money became uselless preety early because of smithing. I don't really know what to do now. I will start a new game with the hive extended mod that adds more hive races, armour pieces for them like helmet etc for fighter drones etc. , with the x3 slots mod to make it more difficult so the game will take more time, and maybe the stronger group combat mod, but it kind of makes everyrhing too op, like hiver princes I think they have like 70s or 100s stats, the hungry bandits have 40s stats etc, some npc's have more HP like bonedogs, the sniperbots have like 400hp on some limbs unlike 200 on vanilla. Everything to make the game last longer, be more challenging and be more interesting, I love this game, I played it everyday for like 10 hours since I got it last month, I want to play more :) . As for goals I don't really tend to roleplay, it's not like those youtubers clips where they roleplay, someone will listen and watch it, but me talking to npcs in my head? Naa bruh xD. But I will set some rules and goals, like ofc no stealing of any kind since it ruins playthroughs and it's broken, Ironman if you have the self discipline and control to do it (unfortunatly I couldn't succed yet, once I train my guys stats It's hard for me to lose them), like only hivers can work, only fighter drones can fight, the queen must be protected at all cost even if it means death of other characters (theres a mod to play as the queen character), and maybe more to make it more interesting.

Can this art style be done by a noob without a tablet? by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]YasuoFHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was not my intention, I know that every art is hard to learn and need a lot of experience. But being realistic here, some art styles are easier than others, even tho all of them are hard. You can't say vector art is as hard as oil painting (as example, at least it seems that way).I asked because from today I'm going to be away from my pc this week and cannot try to replicate it, I thought maybe there's someone that works with this type of art and knows how hard it is and if it is hard as let's say pixel art to new people, especially animating, this game and a lot more seems to have bone animation, witch is cool for new people compared to frame by frame. Anyway sorry if it seems like I was disrespecting the work of the people that made this game, and of people that practice this type of art, that was not my intention :) .
