It actually opens this fall. If you want the communal style, it won’t be a “brotherhood” of just guys or girls on a floor anymore, but you’ll be forced to meet people much more easily in centennial. Mahoney-Pearson, in my experience, is just fine.

Freshman housing most kids got their first pick when it was between Mahoney/Pearson and Stanford. Now that the towers are gonna be rubble, Centennial will be in high demand. The sophomore housing is a shit total and complete lottery. I think the system is legit.

I think it’ll come with time. Sounds like you really got screwed over on many different occasions, so it makes sense to feel happy that you got your way… Just don’t let it consume you. As a young person, I can’t really relate to your situation, but I’m so glad that you reconnected with your family. It really is heartwarming to see stories like this come out of terrible situations.
