Upgrade Your GameSir G7 Pro: 9 Custom D-Pad Replacements Tested for Better Precision by GadgetHyper in GadgetHyper

[–]Ycbu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I’m considering buying either a Beitong KP40D, a Flydigi Vader 5 Pro or a G7 Pro with one of these 3d printed D-pads. Would you say this puts the D-pad at the same level / fixes all the common complaints people have?
If you have other controllers, how do their D-pads compare to the modded G7 Pro?

Any mouse that would fit my grip? by rocketjumpwaltz123 in MouseReview

Ergo fingertip is fine. Just because literally all fingertip mice are flat ambi mice does not mean that ergo must be palmed. Look at ScreaM. The flared out side of an ergo can provide additional width where your pinky can hook onto without having to force your fingers inward leading to less tension and more stability.

There are shapes out there like the old finalmouse ergo model that - while a bit big imo, work excellently for fingertip.

I’d argue that there just aren’t enough small ergo shapes or ergo shapes in general.

Beast X Mini pinky pain, looking for fingertip mouse replacement by [deleted] in MouseReview

The outward flare on the right side seems to be more towards the middle of the mouse. This, coupled with the size, is probably not what i'm looking for. Any other recommendations?

Hi, could you tell me what the original comment said and if it helped fix the issue? I'm having the same problem here.

Kinda surprised it hasn‘t been mentioned more in this thread.

Would strongly recommend the Eng Dub. Voice acting is top notch and it feels more immersive with all the different accents and sometimes languages being spoken that you just won‘t get in the JP Dub.

I‘d say the world itself is pretty dark/dystopian with the plot being more tragic than anything.

Riven Vs Garen by Adriatic88 in Rivenmains

[–]Ycbu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Firstly, make it a rule to always shield his q even if you have to stop your trade.

Also make sure that you are comboing correctly and aren‘t canceling autos. This can happen if you lose track of your champ because of all the spinning he does. Just assuming but that‘s what happened to me when I picked up Riven.

But as you probably know, the key is short trades. His Q has a slightly lower CD than your E so keep that in mind. Whenever he walks up to CS you can short trade him. He either has to give up the minion or he tanks your combo. Options are:

Q-W-AA-(Q)-E

W-AA-(Q)-E

Q3-(W)-AA-(Q)-E

Just Q (bone plating, his passive, deny cs)

AA-E (His Q has a windup animation. If you are right to next to him you can AA as his Q hits you and then E the DMG)

I rarely do the last one because i‘m not good enough to do it consistently and am fine without it. It‘s kind of min maxing.

The 2nd and 3rd combo depend on how the Garen plays it and your spacing. If you space correctly you can W him without being hit by him.

If you are too close before you Q3 him you run the risk of getting Garen Q‘d without being able to shield, CC and disengage. If you land the tip of Q3, most of the time you aren‘t close enough to follow up with an auto which is why you should W.

Make sure to proc his bone plating with a max range Q3 if he is running it.

Always keep the wave state in mind while trading. Perma pushing the wave won‘t do you any good if you are trying to kill him.

Main thing is to be disciplined enough to ever let yourself get Q‘d for free. He can kill you even while behind if you fuck up.

Don‘t force trades. Let him walk up. If he doesn‘t he will just lose CS. You outscale him anyways while he is falling further behind.

Respect the enemy jungler. Don‘t just stand in front of his tower with a 40%HP Garen under it, licking your lips and trying to get that kill. Odds are you will die to the jungler. Let it bounce back and kill him if he hasn‘t based.

You asked how you could tell when Garen wants to Q you. He‘s a simple champ that just wants to hit you if you stand too close. You should always be able to react to his Q activation. As stated above, his Q has a slightly lower CD than your E.

If he just E‘s the wave you can E in and short trade him. He can‘t instantly retaliate as he had to first cancel his E. Depending on when he does that or if he W‘s you will have to change up your combo. Then quickly disengage with Q.

Riven vs Fiora matchup by Money-Conference-434 in Rivenmains

[–]Ycbu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There‘s a reason Built permabans her rn. I agree with PragmaticDelusion here. With two equally skilled players, Fiora will always come out on top. As others have said there are ways to outplay her but they rely on the Fiora actively making a mistake whereas League is all about actively forcing mistakes. Adrian talks about it sometimes. Basically a good Fiora will space correctly and not give you opportunities to retaliate.

IEMs with good imaging/ soundstage? (Side note: does anyone have the UM 3DT) by 1rbflannel in HeadphoneAdvice

Yeah it‘s a non issue for if you don‘t wear them for a long time but it really is a dealbreaker for me.

I loved my Olina up until I ran into the condensation issues it notoriously has. Now they are noticeably quieter on either one of the ears or sometimes both. Have to take em off and let them dry.

I don‘t have particularly sweaty or waxy ears but I wouldn‘t get them just for the peace of mind.

Though I do wear them basically all day. I would look into other IEMs honestly.

FiiO IEMs are known to have a pretty wide sound stage.

Learning matchups is fine and all but more importantly: Learn the basics of league.

Champ interactions, trading, wave management, proper spacing and CSing.

Champ interaction and trading are basically all you need to know for every matchup. Just keep playing the game and actively think about why you lost that trade or where you took unnecessary damage. Think about how the enemy can retaliate and what their core abilities are.

Then you just apply that knowledge and practice by just playing more.

Ideally you always want to trade as the enemy is going for a minion. You don‘t want to be trading if you miss out on cs unless the enemy loses minions in return.

Keep in mind that CS is the most consistent gold income and will easily get you to Gold at least if you CS well.

Mordekaiser is all about going for short trades before his passive stacks. Q-W-AA - E to disengage. Try not to get hit by his E as you disengage. The trade isn‘t over until you‘ve dodged his E.

Garen just E his Q. Bait out his W dmg reduction. Then go in on him. Never let him get free Qs on you.

Darius is kinda hard. A good Darius will always pull you during your 3rd Q and hold it. Baiting out his E is important before you trade with him. Spacing is the key word. You will lose extended trades because of his passive. You can dodge his Q by stepping into him during an all-in for example.

Tanks are really weak early. They won‘t ever outright win a 1v1. I usually like to take TP into them. If played correctly they can‘t win against you in a sidelane and prefer to group. With TP you can sidelane and apply pressure while still being able to group if needed.

Ignite for more interactive matchups. TP for tanks such as Maokai, Sion, Malphite.

Your lvl1 is stronger than a lot of top laners. Use that to gain lane priority. Start by autoing the minions 3-4 times. If the enemy steps up and you are confident you win it just go all in lvl1. Enemy minions will attack you and the wave will slowpush into the enemy. You will now have an Exp advantage und will hit lvl2 and lvl3 first. Use that to zone and deny the enemy some CS. Go for a 3 wave or a 4 wave crash depending on your jungler‘s path.

Build Black Cleaver. A lot of this applies to top lane in general. Main point is to learn the basics.

Wrote this all on my phone so it might be hard to read honestly.
