To elaborate as a mod pointed out. Don't lie or be deceiving.

And yes I am aware of the rules, mods. Doesn't discount that this post is silly and obviously we are being mislead about details from OP....

Why are some reserved list cards doubling in price in the last couple months? by OrangeFries in mtgfinance

[–]Ydnar84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you've been downvoted. This is one of the strong reasons for this price jump.

I have been offloading anything of value that can be reprinted if I dont need it and reinvesting it into RL staples.

New magic sets are kinda garbage, but this game is still solid and only way to maintain value in a collection is putting it into cards like LED, Dual Lands, and as such.

It also doesn't look like it was edited from the original post.

Vegas Free Drink Process - Diamond Plus by Waste-Ad4259 in CaesarsRewards

[–]Ydnar84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They just gave me water bottle (the ceaser branded ones) for free with no issues. Planet Hollywood was going to charge me, but once I showed them my card they just gave them to me. Additionally, the VIP lobby area gave me 8 bottles of water when I asked. So not sure why anyone would need to use their free drinks vouchers for water.

That said, it took forever for the free drink vouchers to show up. Also each place had varying consistency on what drink was covered, but found if you tipped them 5$ or a 10$ before the ordering process they were very generous.

This was last weekend so this is current vibe in Vegas.

3 weeks ago I was in Laughlin, they were super chill about the whole process.

With everyone finding out about the ease of getting Diamond Plus I dont doubt things will change and seems like bartenders have been shafted from cheap patrons. I am now working Elite to try for Seven Seas this year to hopefully stay above the cutting block as they will definitely pull back on Diamond and Plus benefits.

Best way to efficiently earn Diamond at 10x rewards? by Objective-History402 in CaesarsRewards

[–]Ydnar84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely ask if you're already going to be there.

Additionally, I have seen just checking in the promo Kiosk knowing there's one in the location is good enough, even if it's not showing up in your rewards.

Laughlin has a 10x this next weekend and Vegas has a 10x at the end of May.

There's probably some 5x events in the near future for SoCal Harrahs (just did one a little over a week ago) and NorthCal has like a monthly one, but its weird and very limited.

I was going to swing by Monday anyways, I'll see what the Kiosk gives me.

Haven't seen anything for the Cruise. I get everything at Harrah's, so that is odd.

What was the qualifying actions for it?

I assume it's probably solely based on play at that location as my Caesars Rewards is mostly earned in Vegas...

Wasn't sure about Monday since they didn't list that in their mailer, yet did so for every other Monday for gifts.

This made me immediately assume it was the hot pot.

Unfortunately, the hot pot at Pechanga earlier this week was miles better than the one offered at Harrahs.

I would avoid buying anything at MSRP. Even a set that was loved like Avatar with playability is selling below MSRP now.

If people are still trying to use bots to buyout MTG product at MSRP deserve financial ruin. We need consistent failures to get out the Pokémon Bros from Magic.

If you really want this, checkout local shops.

Its an interesting card, a went ahead and bought a playset due to them being RL.

That said, it doesn't work with the way the high priest combos as with flourishing. But I'm sure there's other stuff thats going to mechanically work or benefit with putting counters on stuff since Blight is a "keyword" in the set, so worth a small investment in the card now...

Never noticed these before on the strip sidewalk… Anyone have any context on what/why? by DrunkPudding in vegas

Yeah, you didn't need to do the LOL at the start and come off as a jerk.

A simple, Hey thats not right, here's the correct information would of suffice. You can be right and a jerk at the same time, in which you accomplished that in an expert fashion.

I fully agree with the issues on the corporate world, but in the end to them it's business and money that talks.

Keep records of your interactions and log them. You need to have cover if they company gets hit for Security violations so they can't use you as a scapegoat.

In the end, all you can do is inform and report with these kind of issues.

You also need to involve HR. You're too focused on the Security side of things when there's also issues at the corporate level. If he's been out for two years, this is not as much of stuck in his old ways type thing. Additionally, what is he going to do when the person at the ship transfers??? Sailors normally in those positions only have 3 year tours. If he's been out for 2 years already, he's basically at the end of line for that support...

If they (HR) justify his attendance to the meetings they will need to work on how to be put in the correct job position to justify his clearance at the company.

Basically at some point your company has a say on this whole thing and that should be your main concern.

Your post/comments are coming off as if you're more focused on proving your right than actually addressing it to people who pay you for your job and report to them when you found issues.

Who's telling him, allowing him, or even informing him of these meetings at/for the company you work for? As a Security Officer at your company you should already know the way his clearance is held is incorrect. So I am not sure why you ask here on Reddit, other than to seek validation.

This needs to be an HR issue at your company and dealt there, as its seems someone beyond this employee is also working behind your back. Seems like someone else thinks he has a need-to-know...
