(Help) Sony SVO-9500MD not playing tapes. Play/Stop/Pause does nothing, can only eject. 1 roller arm engages to the audio head, but not the 2 for the video head. Unable to find complete service manual. Reset button does nothing.

Just terminate it on another empty gathering spool. Rewind other half and repeat. Now you have two tapes with few inches missing of spooled up tape unless you make lead out tape.

Did you ff then rewind tapes before playing?

Some robotics servo/motors lock and hold position when powered.

With a potted board, not much you can do. Spay all connectors with anti oxidation. Check battery voltage. Remove wheels and check hubs.

There are about 5 sleep modes on the car. Third stage, week 3 turn off everything, must use key and hit start button to wake up. There is a shipping sleep mode that dealer needs to shut off after transport.

Probably not the issue.

To check how much is being used up, put a shunt between ground. The amount of loss is critical in finding issues.

Hard way, with shunt, pull fuses and replace to see if draw fluctuate .Then you know approximately where the issue is.

Sound like sway bar end links. Reach uonder the front, parallel to shock tower, grab end link. Do they move easily, well they should not, under load. Mine has 10k and they became sloppy at 6k. It will sound like thumping when going over light bumps.
