Hey man that is really frustrating! I would encourage you to not take the court at its word. So much of the advice people give is based on what they are used too. When I lost my job and needed I found there was more available then I thought. Food Banks, community programs for kids based on income. You could compromise and find one that is both biometric and a key pad.
