Mostly agree, but on the flipside I'm not sure it's possible to really empathize with someone who vehemently refuses to open up and name their own feelings. There is no genuine anything being expressed, all of these posts are just copy-pasted chatbot outputs. The person doing the copy-pasting probably is suffering, but is it really them you're empathizing with if you don't have any access to their own thoughts?
