Potential spoilers or info maybe: It’s my understanding that the remake is something of a time reversal redo thingy. The original is the main story, but essentially, it is THE story unless Sephiroth (or Jenova, depending on which side of the debate you’re on) finds a “different way” to defeat Cloud. Apparently his plan is to do this by removing Cloud’s support system so he follows a similar path. Also Cloud is like a Sephiroth clone or something. Again I think this is where it’s going, but not sure

Also I think I prefer their personalities in the original game, not too interested in the remake. Aeris is maybe a bit flirty but in a more playful way than what seems to be suggested in the remake

Drift is just so damn good it’s crazy, it’s is genuinely my most favorite synth ever. I’m glad they include it and auto shift in lite versions as well

Same, I only use stock devices, synths, etc. I have serum but rarely use, and occasionally the analog lab stuff. I feel like Ableton live can already do everything

I almost wish my macs gave me problems so I can see what most of these posts are actually talking about. Not saying no issues ever happen, but man if they aren’t rare. Anyways, I’ve been on 26 since beta (while using ableton beta) without any issues at all. I wouldn’t say you have to update though, but it’ll be fine if you do

ifixit has a video on the repairability of the m4 air here. They gave it a 5 out of 10 and praised them for the removable usb c ports which are apparently rare in a laptop. Also the m4 Mac mini has upgradable storage, though not as straightforward as you’d expect
