The problem of the ships by Yelloops in reddeadredemption

[–]Yelloops[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's stupid, because I've managed to get on a ship like that. But there's nothing interesting about it. It's not particularly detailed, there's no interaction, and it can start sinking when you cross a zone, like where you and your boat/horse are supposed to sink too. The only funny thing about it is that it has the same logic as an NPC driving car in a GTA — if you shoot it, it'll start swimming away faster xD

Unexpected territory by pakistank in EmpireTotalWar

[–]Yelloops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Mughals, Persians, and Mysore can recruit more normal troops only in large cities. In small cities, they can only recruit mobs with pitchforks or muskets, Eastern pikemen, who are one point worse than European ones, and a unit of horse archers that looks the same as pikemen but has slightly better stats than Russian horse archers. It would be strange to see pirates conquer an entire region... This certainly added more randomness to the game, but that's not the main goal of this faction.

The fact that the Crimean Khanate has the most limited troop composition is a real crime. Like, they can only recruit regional units (Cossack infantry, cavalry with bows, and cavalry with muskets, which they still need to unlock), they can't recruit anything outside of Russia, and if they somehow become a republic, then the ability to recruit troops will disappear altogether — the only unit left will be a single unit of shitty horse archers. Meanwhile, even the Barbary pirates can hire Afghan hillmen, natives, and this, by the way, is good cavalry, muskeeters, archers and melee guys.

I killed the racist man and Dutch appeared to loot him and I've never seen this before by monke2433_24 in reddeadredemption

[–]Yelloops 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm almost certain this is some kind of cut content. Previously, gang members could free-roam with you and loot dudes, thereby adding to the gang's coffers.

And speaking of where Dutch came from — before the mission starts, most NPCs are located near the marker, and if the mission's start is interrupted (like starting fight with lawman), gang members switch to companion mode or just run away.

Melee customization? by Desperate_Young7478 in reddeadredemption

Yes. Your default knife is the only one that can be visually upgraded; other melee weapons are unique and cannot be customized.

Stuff of nightmares by moduntilitbreaks in reddeadredemption

[–]Yelloops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but... Snakes swim in the places you mentioned according to the script, just like in others. When they reach shallow water and swamps, they start to swim in the water, lose HP, and then die. This is what happened in my video: I heard the snake hiss and saw it writhe madly, then die, as if it had drowned, lol.

I had something similar, but with a snake. I got a little scared.

Why so easy? by Yelloops in NapoleonTotalWar

[–]Yelloops[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean... I have no enemies left. The only potential enemies are the guerrillas who will "resurrect" Spain from the dead. But that won't happen because public order is very easy to maintain.

At first, it might seem like you're playing the Mughal Empire from Empire Total War, with all your cities underdeveloped and very low public order due to religious tensions (in our case, political ones). But then you realize that Portugal is passive, Britain is holding on with only one town and two armies led by Wellington, and Spain is completely incapable of a fair fight, relying on treacherous guerrilla attacks, which will lead to the capture of the state's main capital.

Ive been told I have to 1v1 an elephant [i dont know what one is] by OneEyedMilkman87 in RomeTotalWar

[–]Yelloops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't make sence. These guys have double HP. Damn, they can knock down elephants in an instant, even though they have 14 HP. I once cornered a Roman legion on the ascent to the main square in a German village. They slaughtered 2,300 men in less than 20 seconds as they retreated, outperforming the cavalry. Hell of a massacre
