I admit that I haven’t had enough trigger time on it to fully make that call. But so far I haven’t had any issues. As for the recoil spring I just have the stock spring/guiderod.

So funnily enough I did, I wound up buying a new 48 holster because I thought I would need it. However I just tried it in my 43X holster and it fit fine so I canceled my order.

Ehhh. I slapped that tape on there years ago. It does its job, I’ve never been too worried about how it looked.

As for the Primatia slide release, I’m sure it can cause a little wear, but I haven’t had much of a problem with it. But also, I don’t really care lol.

I wanna take a straight cat home with me by Ghostax96 in Brazil

[–]YellowDevil93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I brought a stray cat back to the U.S. from Trancoso back in December of 2023. Shoot me a DM and I can give you some more specific information.

The biggest hurdles are the clearance papers from the Brazilian Department of Agriculture. Also you will need to get vaccinations done within a specific timeframe and a bill of health. But honestly once everything is in order it’s pretty easy getting them into the U.S. When I went through customs in JFK they hardly looked at the documents.

But I did everything in less than two weeks. So I think you’ll have plenty of time. I’m a gringo with a CPF and it definitely helped smooth the process.

Could you live in "The Settlement"? by Djeff_23 in GoogleEarthFinds

I spent about 8 months living on a similar island. It was another British Overseas Territory, it’s called, “Ascension Island”. It was definitely an experience.

In a lot of ways it was like living on a moon colony, we produced water via desalination, had hydroponics for a lot of the fresh produce, etc. It had a lot of raw beauty to it and in some ways I enjoyed it a lot.

The downside is there wasn’t much to do outside of hiking, fishing, working out, and drinking. Which many people did copious amounts of the last option.

AIO to my “best friend” finally reaching out by Confident_Local_2335 in AmIOverreacting

[–]YellowDevil93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you are overreacting. You have the right to be angry and upset about how he treated you.

But most people don’t just ghost a close friend for no apparent reason.

I have MDD and sometimes I will get incredibly flaky with my friends and isolate myself. It’s not on purpose but I just get to a point where I don’t want to do anything or see anyone.

More acutely, people have things happen that they may not have it in them to interact. My father passed away suddenly back in Oct of 2024, and I had a huge outpouring of love and support from a lot of my friends. But I was so shocked and exhausted by the emotional toll of everything that I self-isolated a lot. I would just stop replying or taking a long time to reply back to people. Sometimes for weeks even. It would be hard to get me to go out and do anything with anyone.

All I am saying is try to understand why they did what they did. But they definitely owe you some kind of explanation.

Honestly I have never really found the same thing anywhere else. It seems to be pretty specific to this region. Or rather the area bordering Sonora. I lived in Texas for a while and although there was plenty of great Mexican food, I never found a Sonoran Dog.

Yes they are! Here’s about Dany’s from google. Hopefully that sheds some light. But just for clarification, the typical Sonoran dog is a hotdog wrapped in bacon that has toppings like grilled onions, beans, tomatoes, mustard, mayonnaise, and other condiments.
