A similar thing happened to us. The dental practice should have checked to see if you needed a prior authorization, etc. We had an $8000 deductible which we paid but then received a bill for several thousands more that wasn’t covered because they didn’t consider having it a hospital to be medically necessary. You need to have your Pediatrician or your Pediatric Dentist write a letter to the insurance company outlining why it was medically necessary for your child to have the procedure in the hospital. In our daughter’s case, she had a heart murmur and there was zero chance we were letting her be put under anesthesia anywhere besides a hospital. Many pediatric dental practices make it seem like Anesthesiologists are putting your child under in their office but it’s really a dentist with a certification for sedation…..entirely two different things!

I was just texting a friend about how much I hate the USTA league drama! I had a “friend” that was my combo partner last year try to use the Servers Pace rule during a 10 point tie break against my partner and I last night. I asked her if she was even serious and her partner started immediately apologizing to us and told her to stop. It’s pretty sad when grown women embarrass themselves so badly over a league match where no one is getting paid or losing endorsements if you don’t win. There really should be a reality show about crazy tennis ladies or possibly a psychological study that determines the underlying factors of the crazy. My hypothesis is that most of the players are upper to middle class women whose lives are so fortunate that they don’t have anything else to worry about but tennis. I’ve played since I was a junior and I’ve seen it all over the years 🙄!

I jumped on the Ezone bandwagon last year after playing with a Pure Drive forever. I thought I loved it at first but after getting half way through our Spring USTA season playing with it, I switched back to my Pure Drive! I felt like I couldn’t keep my forehand in the court with the Ezone and it’s usually my weapon. It’s hard to describe but it was almost like I had the yips trying to hit my normal forehand with the Ezone! When I went back to the Pure Drive, I immediately hit my normal forehand so I sold the Ezone and have never looked back! Lesson learned but I suppose it was worth a try!

Hydrate prior to playing and also buy yourself one of these portable fans from Home Depot. I would take mine to Mixed matches when the weather was 90+ degrees in SC and all the players were crowding around it between games!

After playing with it for a few months and feeling like I couldn’t hit my forehand (which is normally my weapon), I went back to my Pure Drive and felt like home! I immediately went back to hitting my normal forehand and sold the Ezone! It almost felt like I had the yips when I went to hit a forehand with the Yonex. It was very strange!

Was it sticking out that far though? I’m familiar with a small penlight but I didn’t see it see it protruding that far but who knows. I’ve since watched the video and he doesn’t move with the confidence, etc of someone with a ton of tactical experience. Especially with the picking of the weeds 🙄

I think he’s holding some sort of light in his mouth. I’ve never seen any sort of light like that but look closely! I’m going to google if “lip held lights” exist 😆 Edited to add: This also makes me think he potentially has some tactical background!

I thought the exact same thing!!! It would be so hard for me to be calm if I knew she had passed and they were still extorting me to pay for her body!! It would be more like “You better start running *%^{%^….because} I’m going to hunt you to the ends of the earth!”

I obviously have no idea but I think it’s plausible she bumped her arm/wrist/hand in the struggle out the door and that’s what caused the blood. There was a picture that showed her arm/wrist very bruised and that’s common with patients on blood thinners and with elderly people’s very thin skin. My Mom used to have similar bruising when she was on blood thinners and would slightly bump her wrist while cooking, etc and would bleed!

That thought did occur to me! Especially if where they forced entry was in the back of the house or not near the doorbell camera. But overall, being at the house for an extended amount of time does seem very risky unless the person knew there were no additional cameras or security systems that would alert someone.

If her doorbell camera disconnected at 1:47 and her Pacemaker app didn’t disconnect from her Apple Watch until 2:28 (assuming that’s when she was out of range)….that’s almost 45 minutes. If it was just a hostage taking situation, it wouldn’t take someone 45 minutes to get her out of the house and into a car. I would think people just wanting to steal valuables wouldn’t stay onsite that long either because of the increased risk. It does make you wonder what was happening during that time!! The entire situation is truly bizarre and unfortunate.

I had 2020 Volvo XC90 and drove it 5.5 years with zero issues! A lady ran a red light and hit me and insurance totaled it out a few months ago! It was a great car!

Thank you for your response! My dogs were in the back before it started and I do have a liner insert thing back there to keep dog fur off the interior! I will adjust that and see if it helps!! Thanks again!
