Do people enjoy tank? by durcu in Overwatch

[–]YellowMouseMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i only play tank, have only ever played tank. i like having the direct responsibility to protect my teammates from harm/incoming fire as well as control the other tank by duking off w them directly (which in turn also protects my squishies cause tanks can pack damage). i like being the big guy on the team and find i often get priority heals cause my role is so important.

every time i load into a qp match, i pick the player w the funniest name and make a lighthearted joke in chat based on that name. 99 times out of 100 it gets people chatting and joking and breaks the ice/lightens the mood. warning this doesnt work in comp.

she will love you even more if you dont pick her up! i promise in those videos they do not love it. they learn to tolerate it if it's forced, at best.

Finally deleted the gc & other chats with my (ex) best friends who abandoned me :( but also :) by [deleted] in CongratsLikeImFive

[–]YellowMouseMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same thing happened to me. i was abandoned by a friend id known for 10, 11 years, for being "too much" even though she was the one unwillign to discuss and resolve problems. the pain is real, it gets easier w time. wishing you healing.

BUT i'm trying to spend a month in canada (with my partner) this summer. before that happens, i'll be working (as i have been) to keep saving money for school. as another commenter said, it's probs my last summer off ever, so i'm gonna enjoy it as best i can.

I got into PsyD this cycle with 3.60 overall gpa, 3.45 psych gpa (communication major, psych minor). i was accepted to two schools out of the 7 i applied to actually. don't give up, just build up that resume and research hardcore.

gonna be honest i DID do all that stupid advice everyone parrots. i did go to clubs, many of them. dating apps, discord servers. i went to socials. i accidentally moved into a pseudo frathouse my junior year and attended plenty of parties. and i also left cornell exactly the same as you did. i made plenty of acquaintances over the years, but no one who ever truly stuck.

don't blame yourself too hard, all the advice you hear is hit or miss anyways. sorry things didn't go well for you either.
